Lerins Islands

The Lérins Islands are an archipelago located a short distance from the coast of Cannes. A 15-minute boat ride from the city's old port, they offer a pristine natural and cultural escape. The archipelago is divided into two main islands, each with unique characteristics: 1. Île Sainte-Marguerite. This is the largest island and the closest to Cannes. Characterized by a fragrant pine forest and eucalyptus forests, it offers 20 km of hiking trails and crystal-clear coves ideal for relaxing. 2. Île Saint-Honorat. Smaller, wilder, and dominated by silence, it is entirely managed by a community of Cistercian monks.
