Description of Joey's catamaran
Catamaran Lagoon Lagoon 420 13m
This charter offers free rescheduling in the event of mandatory COVID-19 related travel restrictions, preventing you from arriving in your destination country. Private Sailing with a catamaran yacht chartered with the option of an experienced skipper is an excellent choice, this will allow you more time to relax with friends and family. If you have never chartered but would like to sail a yacht that's larger and more comfortable to handle with an experienced skipper or simply want more time for rest and relaxation, you have found your dream yacht. Navigation - Your skipper can take you almost anywhere within your cruising grounds within your time frame. In addition to actually navigating the yacht, your skipper will handle all related duties including charting your course, monitoring weather conditions and ensuring the safety of all guests during the voyage. Dinghy Transport - On occasions when your yacht's dinghy is needed to travel ashore, your skipper can operate this small vessel to ensure a safe journey to land. Safety & Maintenance - Skippers are responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly deck at all times. This means keeping the lines tidy and out of harm's way and stowing gear that isn't in use. Your skipper will also refill fuel, gas and water tanks, but guests are responsible for paying any fees required. JJB Horizon Exterior Design •Large outdoor rear terrace with dining table and waterproof outdoor mattresses with capacity for 10 guests. •Direct communication with the kitchen from the rear terrace by opening one of the windows, so those in the kitchen can speak freely with the ones outside. •Hard top roof that provides a pleasant on-going shade to the entire rear terrace. •Incredible front terrace with large integrated sofa in the bow and nets area. •Pulpits bow, where you have the best possible view •Two individual nets, installed in August 2018, as if the sofa weren’t enough. •Wide bands to walk from the rear area of the boat to the front and vice versa. •Efficient structuring allowing all manoeuvring to by easily done by the captain from the helm. •Swimming platform with fresh hot/cold water control. •Entire exterior is lined with teak wooden flooring, offering non-slip comfort grip when walking barefoot. Fuel consumption - Sailing catamarans don’t tend to use fuel while sailing. Engines are required at marinas, mooring and when no wind is available. Because the distance travelled can be affected greatly by currents, wind and sea conditions so extra fuel/engines will be needed. Our catamaran is self-sufficient but will need extra fuel with the generator for extra power like cooking, water-making and charging house batteries. When you are chartering this catamaran, the fuel tanks are full. The fuel is not included unless specified during your booking. Fuel consumption rates can vary on each trip. Fuel costs will be an extra surcharge.

We were 3 families with 3 kids aged 9, 9 and 10 staying on Joey's catamaran. This was our first experience of such a trip, and it exceeded our expectations. The host was very friendly and helpful and addressed all our needs onboard, the navigation was safe and careful. The only irritating moment was the access to the electricity, which required starting the generator every time we needed to use the coffee machine or the kettle, and getting used to sparse consumption of the fresh water onboard - although everyone got quickly accustomed to this with a little planning. With the calm sea and beautiful weather in Cyprus in October we enjoyed every minute of our journey, this was one of the most memorable holidays spent together with our friends!
