Rent a yacht in Makarska for a few hours or for several days and experience the freedom of creating your own itinerary and exploring at your own pace.

It is worth mentioning that straight across Makarska is located the lush, tranquil island of Hvar. A yacht charter in Hvar is a great opportunity to see picturesque beaches and scenic coves of the island as well as to browse in the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Makarska is known for its calm and clear waters, making it a great place for both novice and experienced sailors. The area also offers a variety of sailing conditions, including light winds and calm seas, as well as stronger winds and waves in some areas.

Hire a yacht in Makarska with or without a skipper

The skipper can also handle the navigation and docking of the boat, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the scenery.

If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, you can also choose a yacht charter in Makarska without a skipper. In this case, you will need to provide proof of your qualifications and experience, as well as a valid sailing license. Requirements may vary depending on the type of boat, so it's important to check ahead of time.

When is the best time to charter a boat in Makarska?

The best time for a Makarska yacht charter is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and sunny with average temperatures ranging from 25-30°C. This is also the high season, so prices may be higher and popular destinations may be more crowded.

The most important thing is to adapt to the wishes of the boaters, and the islands around Makarska are beautiful, so those wishes are not difficult to fulfill

Cute, touristy port with lots to do for kids. Neat farmer's market off the town square.

Brela beach, just a few kms north of Makarska, is amazing for snorkeling, watersports and food. On Brac Island, Martinica Beach is a much cozier choice than Zlatny Rat (aka Golden Horn) - it is not as famous, but is much less crowded, while also offering lots of watersports, and it is only a few km away.
