if you are staying in Mandelieu and want to hire a boat then it is worth trying to hire something from the local marina rather than contend with the Côte d'Azur traffic. It is located just behind the big casino supermarket and easy to park either there or at the marina. Mandelieu is a good base for a family likes ours as close to most things and slightly away from Cannes which can get very busy,
Perfect location for vacation on seaside. Many free parkings by the sea, excellent access to beach, many different beaches. Excellent location to rent a boat, yacht or at least seascooter. Many places for boat mooring, many ports for boats. Quite place, not so crowded like Cannes, also has two golf courts, one, the best in Mediterane area.
Perfect place to start your day, tiny harbour with nice little restaurants around.
