Why rent a boat in Nice?

Whether for a weekend or a whole week, it's always nice to escape from everyday life by renting a boat in Nice. This unmissable city on the French Riviera will seduce you both on land and on the high seas. At the heart of the Mediterranean, Nice offers a plethora of magnificent places to visit, particularly with a boat rental.

It's large marina, ideally located in the historic city centre, is a prime spot for locals and tourists alike. The port of Nice also has a capacity for 500 boats, including plenty of berths for yachts.

Aboard a sailboat or catamaran, you can explore the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, which is just a few nautical miles away, or reach the towns of Antibes, Cannes and the seaside resort of Saint-Tropez. And if you prefer speed and excitement, opt for a motorboat, a semi-rigid or even a jet-ski.

Where to sail to from Nice?

Renting a boat in Nice will allow you to reach exceptional coves distributed along the famous French Riviera.

Monaco

One day's rental is enough to reach this emblematic city in the South of France.

After visiting the city of Nice, you can set off towards Monaco. Upon arrival by boat in Monaco, the panoramic view offers a magnificent spectacle. Towering on top of the cliffs, the principality seems almost untouched. From palace to casino, there is enough in Monaco to make you dream big, even more so if you choose to continue your cruise along the rest of the French Riviera.

Saint-Tropez

This time heading west, you will arrive in Saint-Tropez, the city of the rich and famous. This sparkling city is also known for its historic charm. Stroll around the Old Port and admire the beautiful luxury yachts moored there.

Cannes and the Lérins Islands

A stop at the "Cité des Festivals" is an absolute must when hiring a boat on the French Riviera. The Croisette, the Golf de la Napoule, the Palais des Festivals... Cannes is an unmissable stop. In Cannes bay, you will also find another exceptional place to make a stop: the Lérins islands. Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat have a certain charm that attracts many yachtsmen every year. They are well worth the visit!

The islands of Hyères or the Île d'Or are natural pearls of the Mediterranean. Made up of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and the Levant Island, this archipelago holds endless surprises. Take the opportunity to take a break amidst nature, anchor in paradisiacal settings and enjoy many water activities, such as diving or water-skiing. Don't miss Anse du Parfait and Anse du Bon Renaud, which offer some of the most paradisiacal beaches on the Riviera.

Corsica

Sail towards the idyllic landscapes of the Isle of Beauty. There you can discover the Sanguinaires Islands, the Lavezzi Islands, the Piana valleys and other unbelievable places, enough to make your heart beat faster! Shall we climb on board?

What to do in Nice?

The Promenade des Anglais

This walk is a must-do during a visit to Nice. Facing the sea and lined with palm trees, the Promenade des Anglais can be discovered both by day and by night. Along this walk, apart from the priceless natural beauty, you can also see several luxury hotels with magnificent architecture. We advise you to do the walk at sunset time to enjoy an even more resplendent view.

Nice Old Town

It is the most authentic and lively area of the city. Stroll through the narrow streets and observe the colourful buildings and charming little shops. Also take the opportunity to make a stop at one of the many bars and restaurants in this picturesque and lively area to sample the cuisine of the region.

The cathedrals of Nice

In the old town of Nice, you can visit the Sainte-Réparate Cathedral in Rossetti Square, which has Baroque architecture and beautiful decorations and ornaments in its interior. Also visit Saint-Nicolas Cathedral, one of the largest Russian cathedrals in the world outside Russia.

The Castle Hill

Rise to the heights to admire the panoramic view from Nice Hill or Castle Hill. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Nice and its Old Town, but also of the vast, blue Mediterranean Sea. Can you imagine?

I would highly recommend visiting Nice, France. It is one of the most beautiful places I've visited. Nice buzzes with an energy and diversity that often surpasses its coastal rivals. It's so easy to blend in and enjoy all that Nice has to offer. You can do it all and meet your budget. There are a variety of activities that will suit many needs. We spent time on the Mediterranean, hiked the hill sides, visited art museums, had excellent food and really enjoyed the night life.

We visited Cap Ferrat- Great place even during off-season. If the weather is nice the views are remarkable. The place is full of history and ‘old money’ beauty. Next time we’d like to sail to Antibes to have a look what’s going on over there! Can not wait for the next trip
