Best for going to Cyclades, we were going to Poros and Hydra, so the first leg was a little long (5 hours at 7 knots). The marina is very tight, you usually need assistance to get in/out. The staff uses dinghy to guide you and to rotate your boat. Use channel 9 to arrange it.
On return (Friday 17:00, when everyone returns) we waited about a hour near the marina for our turn to fill the fuel.

Sailed Saronic Islands. Hydra, Spetses, Poros, Dokos, Porto Heli. If you don’t want busy ports there are quiet anchorages which we preferred and visiting the busy islands in the morning. Great supermarket in the port. Fresh fish to buy in Hydra/Spetses. A couple of good butchers visible in Hydra. Highly recommended.

We departed from Varkiza marina very close to 4Seasons Athens and we visited Poros and Hydra islands! Poros is nice for a morning walk! Afterwards we stoped at a wonderful spot for swimming and our final destination was Hydra. A spectacular island with a wonderful architecture and full of Greek tradition and history!

Just do it. Must see folegrandos iland and kato koufonisi, mylos and sifnos. Be aware of North-west marina of Naxos. In strong wind very hard to embark. Paros Naoussa marina is good and the city is very, very nice. Definitely need more then week for your trip. Better to take rent a car then taxi if you want to see the inside of the ilands.
