Discover Amalfi by boat

Amalfi is a charming town located in the Campania region of Italy. It is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning coastline, colourful buildings, and rich history. The city is nestled between the mountains and the sea, making it an ideal location for Amalfi Coast boat rentals and water-based activities. The Amalfi Coast offers a sailing experience like no other.

Capri boat rental is also a great way to discover the breathtaking beauty of this Italian island from the azure waters of the Mediterranean. Its gentle sea breeze and calm waters make it an excellent destination for seasoned sailors and beginners. You can enjoy smooth sailing as you cruise the coast, enjoying the vistas surrounding you. The coast's calm waters also make it ideal for various water activities such as snorkelling, swimming, and diving, allowing you to embrace the marine wonders beneath the surface fully. What are you waiting for?

What type of boat is best for Amalfi?

With so many choices, deciding the perfect vessel for your yacht charter destination can be challenging, but we're here to help.

We recommend a Motorboat or a RIB for a weekend trip. If you are looking for a week boat trip, sailboats and catamarans are the perfect choice as they will contain the necessary amenities and comfort to serve your every need. However, these are not recommended for novice sailors or those susceptible to seasickness as they sway on the water!

Here is an average of the capacity for each boat rental type:

Motorboat:

  • Capacity: 2 to 12 passengers.
  • Cabins: Typically no cabins.

RIB:

  • Capacity: 4 to 12 passengers.
  • Cabins: Usually none.

Boat without licence:

  • Capacity: 2 to 6 passengers.
  • Cabins: Generally none.

Motor Yacht:

  • Capacity: 6 to 20+ passengers.
  • Cabins: 1 to 10+ cabins, depending on size.

Sailboat:

  • Capacity: 2 to 20+ passengers.
  • Cabins: 1 to 4+ cabins depending on size.

Choose based on group size, budget, and preference for motorized or sailing boats.

What is included in the cost?

What season is the best to charter a boat in Amalfi?

The best time to charter a boat in Amalfi depends on your preferences and interests. The sailing season in Amalfi usually starts in April and extends through October. During this period, you can expect pleasant weather, warm temperatures, and calm seas, making it ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable sailing experience.

Visiting Amalfi during local festivities, such as the "Regata Storica delle Repubbliche Marinare" in June, adds a touch of cultural charm to your trip. This historic regatta celebrates the maritime history of Italy, and you can witness impressive boat races along the coast. The peak tourist season in Amalfi is from June to August, which means more crowds and higher prices. Positano, Ravello, Capri were the best parts of our trip. Our boat trip took us from Maiori to Capri with lunch at Marina del Cantone. We went to the Blue Grotto, went swimming several times, and did the tour of the coast. Water was a bit choppy, so if you have seasickness, prepare accordingly.
