When is the best time for a Palau boat charter?

To make the most of your boat charter in Palau, Italy, it's important to consider the best time to visit in terms of weather, sailing conditions, and peak or off-peak seasons. Palau enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The summer months, from June to September, offer the warmest temperatures, averaging between 25°C and 30°C (77°F to 86°F). You can expect long sunny days and gentle sea breezes during this time, creating pleasant sailing conditions. Spring and autumn also provide favourable weather for boating, with milder temperatures and fewer crowds.

Palau experiences a peak tourist season during the summer, especially in July and August, when many Europeans take their vacations. These months can be busier, with higher demand for boat rentals and potentially higher prices. If you prefer a quieter experience with more affordable rates, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons of late spring or early autumn when the weather is still pleasant and the crowds have thinned. It's worth noting that weather patterns can vary, and it's advisable to check the local forecasts before your trip.

We visited multiple beaches with clear waters. And had a lovely meal and Mirto prepared by our host. I recommend the diving gear to enjoy fully the sea life. The distance are not huge so it is great to enjoy the stops and explore the beach a bit more. However next time we will explore some other places like Corsega that is about 1h away.

Budelli island and its amazing beaches is a must have when you are in Palau. If you like watching amazing boats, make a tour in Porto Pollo. Be aware that there are almost no places where you can get food .... so prepare your lunch and drinks before your ride.
