Olistel Beneteau Piranha
Hello Sailors, Olistel can take you out and over to "Les Iles de Lerins" for the day. We will la Rague/Mandelieu around 10am were we board and set sail to cross to the islands which, depending on the prevailing winds can take up to 2 hours each way. On Saint Honorat which is the smaller of the two, we will moor in small island harbor and head off to explore the island. There is a Restaurant, a snack bar and a souvenir shop next to a monastery of Cistercien monks, who are the proprietaries of the island and it's commercial ventures. After a circling the island on foot, visiting the 11 century fortified Monastery on the sea side, we can head back out for a swim in exceptionally clear waters of the channel between the two islands. Around 16:00/17:00 Hours it would be time to head back the 8 miles across the bay to Port de la Rague. Things to bring along : Towels, Sunscreen, Hats, Picknic and Drinks.
