Arsene met us at the pick up jetty at 0900, a little earlier than expected. He provided a cool box, water, some grapes and a beer, nice touch! Demo of the boat, safety check after signing the natural waver and we were off. What a lovely day, I proposed to my now fiancé during the day at Kleftiko Caves! Stunning day out and a must as the south west side of the island is non habitable so you won’t get to see it unless you rent a boat, jump on a charter ect.. We used 1 tank of fuel which equates to 56 litres at 2.17E. 56 in total. Yet there was 2 of us on the boat. Should you take more crew, expect to use more than the above, as we returned on empty. 2 extra full fuel tanks provided should you need it. I was slightly nervous about this company prior as some reviews weren’t that great! Yet I cannot speak highly enough of Arsene, what a gent! Advise: take supplies, water, beers, lunch from the bakery minutes away and make sure you check the condition of the boat before you leave including working motor and propeller! Have a great time peeps and hope this review helps you make a great choice!

The boat was really perfect for my boyfriend and me and the skippers were really welcoming and explained everything to us - they gave us ice & drinks for the trip. They even offered us 2-3 hours in more as the bot was not needed after us. Thank you so much for this trip !
Overall a good experience at the end of the day with a few important caveats. This particular boat was underpowered for the stated 6 passengers (30hp motor) meaning we couldn’t plane and could only achieve about 13km/h max speed ( sailboats under power moved faster). That meant it took us around 5 hours to get from the marina to Kleftiko caves and back (not including the actual stop at the caves. Second issue was what seems like a gas scam. I was told I had used 50liters of gas (— basically he looks at the can and jiggles it around and says what he thinks you used). The idea for them is you then just pay at the boat and they go fill the cans at a later time so you never see what gets pumped into them. At a current price of 2.26€ per litre I owed 113€ for the day. The scam was revealed when their payment machine failed and I didn’t carry cash or have an ATM card. We ended up having to go to the gas station and they wouldn’t just fill up the canisters in front of me and let me pay. In fact they left the canisters back at the boat so we couldn’t fill them up. In the end he got me to just pay 50€ to the gas station so he could have a credit. Weird and suspicious. I’m almost certain in retrospect the canisters we’re 25litres ( not the 50 litres he said they were) and they were simply doubling the amount I owed and pocketing the difference. So be very careful and perhaps before renting confirm that you want to watch them fill the gas tanks back up before paying or agreeing to a gas price. Otherwise the boat was mechanically sound and worked. The igloo with ice and some complimentary beverages were a nice touch.
We enjoyed our time on the water using this boat. One of the gas tanks was leaking but we ended up not going too far and we didn’t need to use the second tank. It was very nice a cooler and ice was provided! We really appreciated that! Overall we had a nice day on the water! Thank you!
Had a great time on this boat and owner was responsive and accommodating. The only recommendation is we would have preferred to get a bigger HP engine.

The boat was in perfect condition and as described in the ad. The owner was flexible on the pick up and return time as we wanted to leave a bit later and return a bit sooner. I would recommend having a bit of experience in boating, even though no licence is required, as the sea is quite unpredictable and we had to face some strong wind and waves. You have to know how to maneuver, change a fuel tank, drop anchor, etc. Very good experience overall.

This was, by far, the single best thing to do on Milos. The boat was great and the freedom it brings to explore along the coast was priceless; But the cost was not exorbitant. George and Arsen are stand up gentlemen, pure class. I highly, highly, recommend this activity with these guys. Thanks again!
Took a few minutes to check into the boat and learn all the controls. The engine had a hiccup not too far from the initial bay where it shut off. I messaged the owner on here who was responsive immediately and drove out to help us 10-15 minutes later! I don’t think it was anyone’s fault, just a random shutoff. But the quick response and help was great. The experience of boating for so long and so far with the reward of beautiful coves was very memorable. Just drive safely and you will have a great time! I can definitely recommend this great boating company
I strongly do not recommend Venus of Milos to rent a boat (crook, agressive and violent) . The boat was consistant to the annoucement (Unique boat sport). However the boat return was a disaster. There are two jerrycans of petrol to fuel the boat. In the morning they gave of us the two saying they are full and if we want to do the island all around, the boat will almost completly consume the two jerrycans. My girlfirend and I did not verify the level of fuel in the jerrycan at the check-in, 9:30 am. Due to strong wind, we only went to Kleftiko by the west side of the island (the shortest way) and came back. When we arrived at 7:00pm, Georgios took away the jerrycan that we used during our trip which was almost empty, 1/4 of petrol was left. He took away the second jerrycan that we did not used and he noticed that the tank was not completly full. Then, he declared that we consumed both of the Jerrycan and that we had to pay to fill both of them (crook). We did not agree at all, and we felt that we got screwed. Then, a second guy, a blond guy, came who was extremly agressive and violent. He just wanted to fight, if my girlfriend did stand between us, he would have hit me... He wanted us to pay 60€ for the two jerrycan. After 20minutes, Panagiotis arrived and we finally only filled the one jerrycan that we consumed and payed the fuel (38€). If you don't have another choice than Venus of Milos, check everything at the departure and avoid the blond guy (agressive and violent).
