How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Mallorca?

The best beaches in Mallorca

Home to over 250 beaches, Mallorca is the perfect place for everyone to relax. When you rent a boat in Mallorca, you can easily move from beach to beach, taking in new, spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Here is a list of some unmissable beaches for you to visit during your yacht charter in Mallorca:

  • Cala Barques is a wonderful beach for you to visit! Located in Manacor, this gorgeous area is surrounded by a pine forest and is quieter than many of Mallorca’s other beaches.
  • Caló des Moro is situated on the southeast side of Mallorca and boasts a stunning beach with gin-clear waters.
  • Cala Mondragó often goes unnoticed by tourists, however it is definitely worth a visit! The beautiful combination of colours in the water means that this beach has been part of a National Park since 1992.
  • Cala el Mago and Portals Vells are connected to each other and boast exquisite cliffs, full of vegetation, as well as crystal-clear waters. It is also a perfect place to snorkel!

It's the perfect location just a short distance from the center of the island's capital. It gives you the opportunity to combine leisure on board and on the mainland, as well as having all the services and excellent connections.
  • Puerto de Sóller, a quiet port in the middle of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, perfect for a relaxing stopover or as a starting point to Cala Deià or Cala Tuent.
  • Puerto de Andrach (Port d'Andratx), with a wonderful location in the middle of nature, has become a favorite for many travelers. It will be a great starting point to Cala Fornells or Dragonera Island.
  • Puerto Adriano, another ideally situated marina if you are considering to rent a yacht in Mallorca.

What to do in Mallorca?

As it is the largest island in the Balearic, it is not surprising that there is such a large quantity of things to see and do in Mallorca. From laid-back holiday lovers to adrenaline seekers, there is something here for everyone! So, if you have extra time during your boat rental in Mallorca, here are some exciting options to explore:

• Go on a Sea Caving Excursion! Escape the hot sun and enjoy a 300 metre swim into Cova de coloms. After this, your tour guide will lead you through the cave, showing you underwater lakes and stalagmites. The natural beauty of the cave is known to make visitors return year after year.

• Only an hour away from Mallorca, you will find the Cabrera Maritime-Terrestrial National Park. This almost untouched landscape is the perfect opportunity for you to spot new flora and fauna, for example, it is home to Posidonia Oceanica, a variety of seagrass that is only present in the Mediterranean and is responsible for Cabrera’s aquatic ecosystem.

• For any adrenaline junkies, why not go cliff jumping? Visit the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and leap into the surrounding plunge pools.

• If you are looking for a gorgeous place to relax, definitely check out Cala Gran. With an incredibly natural landscape, this is a beach lover’s paradise.

What kind of yacht to charter in Mallorca?

If you are looking for any type of boat rental in Mallorca, Click&Boat will have you covered! On our website, there is a huge variety of vessels, which are all suited to different types of excursions. On many of our boats, you will be able to include extras, such as a skipper and/or crew, as well as extra equipment, in order for your experience to be completely personalised.

If your heart is set on a day-long yacht charter in Mallorca, our motorboats are a perfect option for you. Many of our motorboats come with the option of renting a crew or a skipper which will provide you with a more relaxing experience and give you the chance to explore hidden gems in Mallorca or to boost your knowledge of better-known sites.

If you are planning on exploring the Mediterranean for a weekend, make sure to check our catamarans or our sailboats. There are differences between these two types of vessels – for example, sailboats are generally cheaper, but catamarans are known for their stability, however, both will provide you with a wonderful sailing experience. Each boat comes with different equipment and a varied capacity, and so we are sure that the perfect vessel for you, your family and friends is only a few clicks away. We cannot wait for you to charter the boat of your dreams in Mallorca.

Rent a boat with a skipper in Mallorca

Many of our boat rentals in Mallorca come with the option of hiring a skipper and/or crew. Although this may come at an extra cost, there is no doubt that this will make your experience even more enjoyable. The skipper will know the area very well, and so this is a wonderful opportunity for you to discover secret beaches and hidden caves that would otherwise go unexplored by tourists. A skipper will also be able to adapt the sailing route to best fit the desires of you, your family and friends.

If you decide that you want to have a skipper on your boat charter in Mallorca, your experience will definitely become more relaxed, as they will take care of the sailing, as well as the docking and anchoring. You and your party can sit back, worry-free, and soak in the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and the Mallorcan coastline.

When is the best time to go to Mallorca?

The temperature in Mallorca remains pleasant all year round, however, if you travel there during the winter months, there is an increased risk of storms and rain. The sailing season in Mallorca stretches from April to October, so if you dream of spending your holiday on the water, we recommend travelling around this time – specifically in the months of April and May if you want to avoid peak tourist season. In the spring, conditions are perfect for sailing, even if you are a novice, as the weather is warm and the sea is calm.

Watch out for mozzies, go to Arta and Port de Andratx too. Hire a boat, it’s worth it for the sunset and swimming in the ocean with the schools of fishes. Lots of markets and artisian shops around the place, a really good to pick up things for the home and souvenirs :)

Because our charter was for a limited number of days I can say that Cabrera is an easy and pleasant sail (out and back) if you do not have permission to moor. We loved Sant Jordi for it's lovely port and connected beach area. The anchorage was secure and access is great.
