In short, 5 stars out of 5! This boat trip was our best day spent in Malta, only thanks to the beautiful, perfectly kept boat and the wonderful host. We spent the day enjoying the best views Malta has to offer, and got a great tan after jumping into the water. A personal thank you to the host, Ian, for sharing Malta’s history, creating a great atmosphere and making us feel at home. As for the boat, it was very spacious and convenient to sit and talk, tan and enjoy the trip. All in all, the host made it easy to book and we as a group recommend 100%! Best deal in Malta😉
Ian was the perfect skipper, very gentleman. Even if the journey wasn’t the best about weather(happens) we really enjoy every single minute! Highly recommended!
We had a really great time. The wind was Force 5 going on to 6. First we sailed from ta' Xbiex up North to get a true sailing experience and then we went south to Il-Hofriet where we swam in the turquoise lagoon. Ian was very nice and informative, giving us info about the different sails, winds, ropes etc. We spent a really nice day with him and the boat was a very nice one with all commodities :)
Ian was really professional from the first moment when I booked the boat. He was available on board to let us enjoy the sailing. To who was interested he also explain something about wind and sailing. We also saw a dolphin going to blue lagoon. I advice him for sure.
It was a perfect time at Ian's boat. Everything was easy and well organized. Ian was a very friendly skipper. We enjoyed every second of the trip.

I have sailed since I was 10 years old and after several years racing I eventually bought my own keelboat in 1990. I obtained my Master (local licence for ALL vessels Commercial and private) in 2004. Radio Operator licence and all STCW ancillary courses. Worked as captain aboard a local day cruise 58m passenger ferry with a capacity of 650 passengers. Eventually obtained my Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail & Power) (RYA) in 2008 in Poole UK. I followed this by obtaining my RYA Instructor Cruise and Power Certification in 2014.I am now an RYA Sail and Power instructor. I like mechanics and also posess an engine driver (local) certificate. I prefer sailing and now own 2 boats, a 30 foot Beneteau First and a Beneteau Oceanis 40. I have done 6 Middle Sea Races, the last being in 2015. I also do deliveries for boat owners.
