We launched our new yacht - Joya (Oya). We will sail on the Danube. It can accommodate up to 6 guests. It is very convenient for boat trips, fishing, party ... Joya is original, and it can be said, an innovative project based, of course, purely by chance. For a long time (more than 10 years) I have been considering a large plan for sailing on the Danube and other European rivers and canals. I was looking for a boat to go along the rivers, but also to sale in the seas of Europe. In the autumn of 2016 I came across an advertisement for the sale of an old abandoned fishing boat. She looked sad and sure, so she was beautiful. The shell is made of Siberian larch. The tree was specialli grown for boat and ship construction. The shipyard is on the island of Solomba in the town of Arkhangelsk in Siberia. Since the time of Peter I, in the XVIIIth century, here ships have been ordered all the countries of the North and Baltic Sea. The casing is clinker - overlapping the boards on top of each other. Viking technology. A very sturdy and light hull is obtained. My idea was to start a relatively large yacht - 11 meters with outboard motors. That's why we've built two long spoilers that are connected with the keel and with a stable foundation for outboard motors.
