My boat is insured by my own insurance. What should I do in case the boat has been damaged?

Yes. You must declare any breakdown or damage to us within a maximum of 24 hours following the rental

- by contacting Click & Boat at +44 1924 921 020 (Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00

- by sending an email to contact@clickandboat.com

- via your Click&Boat account. To do this, click on the link "Report a damage" on the relevant listing

The file will be declared complete following the reception of three items: the rental contract and the damage statement signed by both the renter and the owner, as well as photos depicting the damage in question.

On top of this file (managed by Click & Boat), you need to submit a declaration of loss to your own insurance provider regarding compensation.

Depending on the conditions of your contract, your insurance may cover all or part of the repairs, subject to the payment of a damage waiver.

The damage waiver will then be withheld from the renter's security deposit.
