Not far away from the Aigues-Mortes, or the Grande-Motte, the Grau-du-Roi, or in its local language (Occitan) “Lou dou Rei”, is located in the county of Gard, in the Languedoc-Rousillon region, in France. The Grau-du-Roi is the only maritime community of Gard county, near the doors of Camargue, in the southern part of the Mediterranean.
