The boat sailed really well although the thrusters broke after the first use - which was investigated when we returned. There were a couple of minor issues that we fixed, which are to be expected of a boat this age. We were late to collect the boat and both Joele and Elena were very understanding and accommodated us. Overall, we had a very positive experience sailing this boat and would rent from this company again.

Absolutely fantastic! Gianluca's friendly expertise, combined with Barbara's hospitality and delicious cooking, made us feel right at home on the water. A must-do experience for anyone looking for a memorable day on the water. Highly recommended, we had a blast!!!

Rent a boat in Livorno

Starting point for numerous tourist and commercial routes to Corsica and Sardinia , Livorno is a strategic city for Tuscany. Rent a boat in Livorno and enjoy the splendor of the place between history, culture, sea and much more.

Set off with the people you love to explore Livorno. Its origins date back to the republic of Pisa which in the 14th century had to find an alternative to its ancient Porto Pisano.

A historical and cultural point of reference in Tuscany, Livorno is also much more: beaches, peaceful bays and lots of fun await you!

The unmissable cultural and historical destinations of Livorno

Livorno then took shape with a lighthouse called “il lantern” surrounded by imposing walls all around the city. Given its commercial importance, it then passed into the hands of the Republic of Florence under the Medici dynasty in 1500, and then became a free port, which allowed it to prosper, becoming cosmopolitan, multiracial and multireligious.

As evidence of this past, the Jewish, English Protestant and Greek Orthodox cemeteries and the cemetery of the German Dutch congregation are still present today. The places of worship are also numerous and of different confessions such as the Armenian Church, the Anglican Church, the Waldensian Church and the Synagogues.

Modigliani's birthplace, it is often considered the most modern of Tuscan cities. Unfortunately, after the world wars, the city lost many of its monuments, although it still retains some neoclassical vestiges. The city offers the visitor civil architecture including aqueducts, palaces adorned with marble, spas, theatres, villas and military fortresses such as the famous Fosso Reale placed to defend the Medici city.

All you have to do is come and discover the hidden beauties of this port city. Last but not least, for cooking enthusiasts, there is no shortage of culinary delicacies such as Livorno-style cod, Livorno-style mullet and caciucco, the most famous dish in the city.

Places to go to the seaside in Livorno

Being a very busy port city , a point of reference for traders from all over Italy, Livorno does not have very beautiful beaches nearby. It is precisely for this reason that a boat rental in Livorno becomes the perfect answer for your holiday!

From Livorno, with your rental boat, you can decide to chart a route north and go to Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Marina di Carrara, as well as La Spezia and the surrounding areas in Liguria.

If you instead head south, we recommend stopping on the coast in front of Cecina, San Vincenzo and Baratti. Here you will find magnificent places set in the rock of the Tuscan cliffs overlooking the sea. We'll just let you imagine the beauty of the place!
