beautiful area! lot of nature (well, in the context of the Netherlands which doesn't have much :)), and it's MUCH better to go for a swim from a boat or from one of the small islands than the few crowded public beaches around the lake. on some of the islands you find little bars with toilet (and ice cream), and you can go swimming there too if you prefer a sandy beach.

Keep in mind you need to buy a day-license if you intend to go to amsterdam canals. Recommend going to Roelofarendsveen and walking along the noordkade, you can moor the boat at some public spaces near café de haven, which is also an excellent location if you want to go to Leiden you'll have to basically not waste any time and head straight there, maybe a small stop for lunch thats it. I did not make it to there Commercial traffic is minimal, very easy system if you have intermediate boating skills.

We had a wonderful canal boat trip as a team building work trip on Wednesday afternoon. The boat was great, our host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and there was a great selection of drinks available throughout the trip. The snacks could perhaps have been a little better value, but overall the experience was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it - we’d happily book again!

Our experience was great. The team was great at communicating and did enough follow-up to ensure that we had the experience we were after. The day of the event we were greeted with warmth and that set the day to a great start. The captain was welcoming and shared allot of knowledge about the area, which always makes for a great day. Food was great, we even did a stop to get some warm snack. Olivier also assisted me in not over catering the event, which i find helpful and honest, all round a great experience and highly recommended!!! :-)

Leo was so friendly. Although we were 15 minutes late, but he was so patient and explained how to ride the boat patiently, because it was our first time. In general, it was a great experience. 👍

Tom has communicated excellently and helped us have an unforgetable sailing experience. The boat was fine, it is not new anymore but equipped with the basics and easy to sail. We would rent it again.
