Yacht Charter in Taormina!

On the east coast of Sicily, at the top of a hill, stands Taormina, a jewel of the Italian peninsula. With its Greek spirit and its medieval village, Taormina is a must-see in Sicily. Its mild climate allows for year-round sailing.

At the foot of Mount Etna, you can anchor in creeks with clear waters. Or decide to set sail for the Isola Belle, also known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean" and relax. You can also visit Lido Mazzaro Beach, known to be a marvelous snorkeling spot. Located in the south of Taormina is the longest beach in the area. Giardini Naxos is surrounded by wild vegetation. The ideal way to visit these areas is with a yacht charter in Taormina.

By sailing twenty-eight nautical miles, you can reach Messina. This historic Italian city will dazzle you as does the Punta del Faro nature reserve. From here, Cape Peloro, also known as Cape Faro is just a short distance away. There are endless opportunities to swim in the beautiful lagoons of the city.

Taormina, a pearl of Sicily

A yacht charter in Taormina is also the best way to get to Catania. On the spot, you can explore Piazza del Duomo, stroll along Via Etna to see the volcano and recharge your batteries in the gardens of Villa Bellini.

In Taormina, take the road to Piazza IX Aprile and discover a picturesque landscape. Perhaps watch a sunset over the Ionia Sea. Remember, there is always the option of renting a motorboat for overnight trips! As for the sailboats and catamarans, they decorate the local ports and can be seen sailing across the seas. Sicily is the place to be for sailing, as well as enjoying local wines, foods, and culture.

Sicily is also known for its incredibly well-preserved Greek theatre. In addition to the beauty of its architecture, its view is breathtaking. Hikers will be able to reach Mount Etna or climb the 300 steps of the Chiesa Madonna della Rocca to also get a view of the city and the surrounding area. Boaters can visit Syracuse, the Aeolian Islands or Pozzalo, known (among other things) for its sea route to Malta and Valletta.

Beautiful, picturesque and would def recommend. We loved staying here. Food, wine, views were all amazing. Cruising the coastline just added to the trip. Taoramina was one of our favourite parts of our trip to Sicily and would advise anyone to go here for a couple of nights whilst on the island.

Very nice place to visit. Beautiful city, full of history and a real buzz. Lovely architecture. Lots to see and do in the area also. Definitely the upmarket part of Sicily. Can be a bit pricey. Nice adjacent towns and villages to visit and convenient location for all the must do visits of Sicily.

Went to Isola Bella and along the Taormina coast. Enjoyed the nice water, some good rocky spots all along, some fish to observe. I do not remember the names of the beaches we stopped by though, but everything was good. The boat driver know the place and will guide you through perfectly.
