What is the best time to rent a boat in Miami?

Due to its tropical climate, Miami can be enjoyed year-round, but the best time for a yacht charter in Miami is from March to May when temperatures are warm but not scorching hot, and it isn’t overrun with tourists. But don’t worry, the water is still wonderful! Water temperatures can reach up to 30°C.

It’s best to avoid Miami in the winter months as that is the peak season, and the prices of boat rentals will be higher. Also, be advised that there is the possibility of tropical storms in the summer up until November.

Consider a skippered yacht charter in Miami

In Miami, Click&Boat offers many boat rental options with a skipper and/or crew. Of course, these are usually more expensive than bareboat charters however the higher price is worth it! With a captain, set sail at a slower pace on your own private boat. By having a local in your midst, you’ll have the opportunity to discover and enjoy hidden coves, remote anchorages and beautiful beaches that you might not have visited otherwise.

All there is left to do is to sit back and relax while the captain and crew take care of everything like navigating, docking and anchoring the vessel/ Your charter in Miami will be worry-free and one to remember!

What type of boat is best for a Miami yacht charter?

The type of boat that you choose for your sailing holiday in Miami will depend on the type of holiday you’re looking to have. If you will only be travelling for a few days, it’s best to choose a motorboat or a RIB, which are typically rented by the day. If you want to sail for a week or more you can opt for a more comfortable vessel such as a catamaran or yacht, which will include all of the amenities you need to accommodate family and friends. For a more authentic sailing adventure, choose a sailboat but be aware that they are more suited for experienced sailors as they are unstable vessels and tend to sway a lot on the water. Whichever type of vessel you’re looking for, Click&Boat is here to help you have the boat trip of a lifetime!

Highlight of our Trips to Miami! This is the fourth time we book this boat visiting Miami and each time has been everything we could’ve asked for and more. From beginning to end Communication from everyone is fantastic leading up to our charter date and the Captain is bar none. The boat itself is spacious, comfortable, & very well kept. We were able to walk around and take photos without feeling limited on space and dance to our music playlist. Definitely recommend for big groups, celebrations, etc. Also has power to move quicker so you can get more out of your time. Reminds us of boats from Miami Vice show lol which has been awesome & uniquely different from others. The captain really makes the experience more memorable and is an all around great guy. Very warm, kind, & accomaodating to our large party of 12. He goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience possible. On this trip He took us to two beautiful locations to swim and enjoy the views. The second location was a little tropical paradise and sandbar we were able to walk around and captain had snorkel gear for us which was a nice addition .We were also lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins swimming and playing around before our cruise ended. This really turned into a magical experience for all of us. :) Couldn’t have been better! Overall 10/10 Definitely booking again. Thank you Captain!

The yacht charter…..The starting point is on the Miami River cruising by all the fancy oceanfront restaurants and Brickell City Center.  Cityscape views of downtown Brickell and Brickell key.  Then cruising all along Downtown Miami, Bayside, Bayfront Park Ferris wheel, Miami Heat FTX arena, etc.  Essentially viewing the heat of downtown miami from the water.  Then cruising to Miami Beach, viewing the millionaire rows of mansions on Star Island, Hibiscus Island, Palm Island, Monument island.  The Pfizer CEO mansion, etc.  The captain is very knowledgeable about the area The cruise start time and end time is completely up to the guests.  Car parking on-site.  A stew will also be on board to help the guests with whatever they need.
