She is an ideal sailing yacht for families, friends or couples searching for finesse, luxury, and comfort. The Elounda bay area is known for its wind – protected sandy coves, rocky coastlines, and the beautiful villages Elounda and Plaka. Elounda bay includes some of the finest hotels and resorts in the world. The whole area is the epitome of sublime excellency and recreation. Laying exactly at the mouth of Elounda bay, Spinalonga, the magnificent fortress – islet of stands as the natural guardian of the huge harbor. During the Venetian occupation the whole islet became an impressive and highly effective fortress. Later on, Greek authorities established an isolated colony for lepers and political prisoners. Today Spinalonga is the most popular archaeological site in Crete after Knossos as thousands of tourists visit the picturesque islet every summer. Agios Nikolaos is an exclusively beautiful town surrounding the homonymous, small yet impressive lake. This place is truly scenic with a lot of neoclassical buildings, restaurants, bars, shops, and intense nightlife. Most of the seashores in and around the town, rocky or sandy, are wind – protected and outstandingly gorgeous. The atmosphere is cosmopolitan and extravagant as some of the oldest top – luxurious resorts of Greece, built more than fifty years ago, are located here. A feeling of leisure, nostalgia, and romance hovers all over the place. CRUISE TIMETABLE - DAY 1: Cruising from Heraklion to Elounda The boat leaves Heraklion Venetian port, sailing along the north – eastern seashore towards Elounda Bay. You can relax, get some suntan on the deck, or join the sailing procedure while getting eye – catching views of the coast from aboard and sensing the sea breeze on your skin. Reaching the mouth of Elounda bay you will be charmed as we approach the thrilling guardian of the bay, Spinalonga islet. We will stay overnight in the marina of Agios Nikolaos. After having dinner in one of the many restaurants / taverns available we can get a taste of the intense nightlife at a bar or a cafe or take a romantic walk around the attractive lake shore and the beautiful graphic port. - DAY 2: Exploring Mirabello Bay The second day you will continue relaxing and suntanning while sailing along the amazing coastline of Mirabello Bay. There are a bunch of sandy, pebbled, or rocky coves, most of them wind – protected, with crystal clear, calm, aquamarine waters, calling you to dive into. In the afternoon you can taste delicious Cretan dishes at a local tavern / restaurant (there are lots of them around, just by the coastline). Late in the evening we are sailing back to Agios Nikolaos marina for our second overnight stay. - DAY 3: Sailing back to Heraklion We depart from Agios Nikolaos early in the morning, sailing along the coastline of the southern part of Elounda bay which is as impressive as the northern part. As we reach Heraklion, late evening, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stellar Cretan sunset and the twilight magic onboard as the sun dives into the magnificent Aegean. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS - More than 60 days before check in: No charge. - Between 59 and 30 days before check-in: 60% of the total cost. - Less than 30 days before check-in: 100% of the total cost. - If the boat is re-booked for the same client will be refunded.
