Custom Made — Melody 2 (1999)

Melody 2 is a spacious steel yacht made in the Netherlands with excellent cruising characteristics, fully equipped with echo sounder as well as bow- and stern thruster for easy mooring. This boat is ideal for a crew of 4-5 persons. The bow harbors one sleeping cabin with two single berths in V-shape, a toilet cabinet with washbasin and the galley, with refrigerator, domestic-size cooker, and sink. A few steps lead to the sitting room with, on the right-hand side, the inside steering station and on both sides of the boat access to the gangway. The well-lit and cozy saloon offer ample possibilities to sit down and have a look at the countryside. The L-shaped settee converts into a comfortable double bed in half a moment and the other settee provides another (single) bed to an unexpected guest. In the aft part of the boat, another toilet cabinet with washbasin, a separate shower compartment and a second cabin with each a single and a double berth are to be found. It speaks for itself that the standard equipment of the Melody includes pressurized h+c water, warm air heating, radio/CD player, color-tv, digital satellite, 220 V converter, and a 220 V-shore connection. The railing leading all around the boat keeps children and pets safe aboard. On sunny days the helmsman can navigate from the aft deck, enjoying the view to the landscape passing by while his crew on the fore and aft deck. And the bathing platform at the stern invites a refreshing dive when work has finished. The boat is equipped with GPS and plotter.
