Description of Marco's sailboat
Amalfi Coast onboard, new Hanse 385
Our sailboat Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is a new Hanse 385, launched in August 2014, and offers a luxury stay for max 6 people in three cabins. A perfect solution for a family or for a group of friends who want to discover from the sea the Amalfi Coast. Considering the standard amenities on a sailing boat, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, with her modern and elegant design is very useful and functional: -The deck is pleasantly free of lines and fittings, meaning that you have plenty of room to relax at sea and in the harbor; -The large aft platform is a terrace above the sea; -The salon and the cabins are plenty of headroom and light; -The toilet is very comfy and the kitchen is just like home, equipped with all necessary cooking utensils. The boat is moored at Marina d'Arechi Port Village, in the East area of the town of Salerno, a new structure capable of offering to the boat-guests a high quality standard services, both at sea and ashore. Very close to the amazing Amalfi Coast (in italian: Costiera Amalfitana), Capri and Cilento region. The skipper, Marco, will be very happy to conduct you for a unique sailing trip, spend the night at the anchor in one of the wonderful bay around the coast, bring you in one of the best restaurant or trattoria or arrange for a special dinner on board. This should be agreed at least one week before the arrival. The price depends on the length of the trip, how many guests on board and kind of services. For you guidance: the price for hiring the Skipper is 150 €/day, per daily sailing (return at base marina before 17:00), and 200 €/day for night/long journey, plus the out of pocket expenses (food, beverage, gasoline, mooring fees etc.). During the journey Marco, expert sailor graduated in Maritime Science and certified instructor, will be very happy to introduce you into the art of sailing ! Bad weather ? Don’t worry, the Skipper is available for guiding you in historic/culinary tours by car or train/bus, suggesting very special destinations not far from the boat.

Zip a dee doo dah was a fantastic boat for us. Marco is a great skipper and expert navigator. He always made sure we had all the information we needed and provided some great recommendations for our trip. I would highly recommend this boat and Marco as a skipper he really made the journey fantastic for me and my fiance.
Steve and Michelle were perfect guests: nice, friendly, clean and respectful of the rules. It was a pleasure to accompany them in this wonderful adventure that they lived and I really hope to see them again in the future.
