Hello, And thank for taking a look at Wild Baleine, my Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 (2019), located in Lavrio (Airport = Athens). The Astrea in this configuration is an apartment on water, with all comfort, and still a pleasant sailing machine, ready for adventure. So it is a pleasure for the sailor, for the wife of the sailor, and the children of the sailor. Other catamaran: if they offer this comfort, they are bigger, and so, much more expensive, or they simply don’t offer this comfort. The Boat is with 3 Double Cabins, each cabin has its own electric WC / shower. + 2 single cabins + Skipper (the skipper - me - use one of the double cabin) So altogether there is room on bord for : maximum 6 adults and 2 childrens / teenagers + skipper. A saloon with 360° view on the water, a big kitchen, nice cabins, a trampoline, a lounge, a sun / fly deck near the cockpit,... will give you plenty of space for activities like sunbathing, a dip into the water, brunch in the shadow, or just relaxing under the Greek warm sun, enjoying the blue water. For info: Wild Baleine has also a heating, for early / late season. You and your beloved ones will comfortably enjoy this spacious catamaran. Lavrio is 30 minutes from Athens Airport. I can organize a taxi. Lavrio is a lovely small town. The Olympic marina is a just outside Lavrio. From Lavrio, our first night may be on anchor at Cap Sounio, under the Poseidon Temple, enjoying the sunset and taking the dinghy (a whaly, very stable) to one of the restaurants direct at the beach. In the morning, we sail gently to an island, looking for our private spot to set the anchor, and enjoy blue water life. Or on our way to Nauplius to visit the old Greek capital. I won't sail to Mikonos, as Mikonos is a nice island, but much too crowdy and noisy, believe me. The harbour is always full and far away from town, and there is no way to sleep on anchor at a beach, while differents bars are in a competition for the loadest music till 5 in the morning. Not fun. Difficult customer. The saying is: too many chief cook a bad supper. I guess, that is what happenned. There is only one skipper on board. And that have to be accepted by the crew. As long as the skipper doesn t put the crew and boat in danger, the skipper is the skipper, and his decision has to be accepted. If customer book a skipper (for whatever reason, professionnal skipper skill, tour guiding...), the customer has to accept that the skipper have the responsability of crew and boat, and for that rewson, his final decision has to be accepted. Concerning the customer sailingskills, i don t know. He didn t show any licence, and told me that a force 6 to 7, is just a wind around 20 knots, and no reason not to leave the harbour. There is no right nor wrong. But from a boat owner point of view, well, i respect and appreciate the decision of the skipper not to put crew and boat in danger. To be mentionned, is that the same storm, killed 6 tourists a few 100 miles away in north Greece, and another 6 in Italy. From a customer point of view, i understand the wish not to stay in harbour, but we are at sea, and this is a special environnement. Asa customer, and even a experienced skipper, i do think the decison of the skipper was a good ne that can be rescpected, all the more that the weather forcast was positiv for the next day. I hope for jose, that he reflect on this matter, because it would help him to enjoy sailing, wether he is the skipperhimself or if
