We would recommend visiting Šibenik and Zadar which are not too far away, as well as the Zadar archipelago where you'll find hidden small bays and beaches on each of the charming small islands. Be sure to try the local cuisine and try to visit Pag if you have enough time. It's traditional cheese, "Paški sir" is one of the symbols of the Croatian cuisine.
