AVOID!! Read if you’re considering renting from this company: I had a lot of struggle communicating with the owner of the boat throughout the process. I tried asking question to make sure this is right for us and they often either not responded for days, or selectively answered only questions that suited them. I made it very clear what we wanted, and what our intentions were in terms of our trip so there were no grey areas. This was all agreed upon prior to our booking. On the day, or more accurately day after because they never communicated with us and gave us directions to where the boat was and we had to change our holiday plans because of them, they gave us a boat but gave us very specific instructions on where to go despite the fact we made family arrangements and agreed where we wanted to take the boat. They were controlling and treated us with no respect. I gave them all my licenses and even their own advertising on the pick up locations said if we have a license to operate this type of vessel, we will be able to do what we plan. That’s not true. On top of that, vessel was not as advertised because engine was 30hp not 100hp like we had booked. It was damaged too like the seats and the dashboard. They also in the end told us we must pay in cash and when I said I don’t carry cash and I will use Apple Pay, they said they have a card terminal but will charge me 23% premium for using my card because they don’t want to disclose their earnings for tax purposes. This seller also advertises they will give paddle boards and fishing equipment. Never got any of it. When we asked for it they said there is no space on the boat! Trust me, avoid it and find a better owner. It’s not worth the risk and ruining your holiday.
