As a former maritime power, Amalfi boasts a long sailing tradition that goes back several centuries ago. Suffice to say that the local sailors where the first in the Western world to use the compass. You can also admire here the city’s beautiful cathedral, a gem of medieval Italian architecture that will take your breath away. Today, the beauty of the surrounding area and the narrow, cobble-stoned streets of the medieval old town have earned Amalfi a rare distinction: the city has been a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997.
With a boat hire in Amalfi you can also explore world-famous towns and resorts in the surrounding region, such as Positano and Praiano, both picturesque villages along the Amalfi coast. No wonder why so many romantic films have been shot in this charming place where the blend of Mediterranean climate and Roman heritage creates a unique ambience.

A famous tourist destination, Amalfi is overlooking the Gulf of Salerno in the Tyrrhenian Sea. The renowned Amalfi coast is a stretch of rocky cliffs and dreamy beaches, and therefore an ideal place for a boating excursion if you happen to be in Italy in the summer. The city of Amalfi itself is lovely and picturesque, with the stupendous Mount Cerreto towering over it. It is time to book a boat hire in Amalfi!

Amazing day out exploring the coast of Amalfi. Raffaele was great and gave us lots of tips of where to go and how to spend our time out for the day. Raffaele and his team were great and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Amalfi and day we would definitely do again!
Positano, Ravello, Capri were the best parts of our trip. Our boat trip took us from Maiori to Capri with lunch at Marina del Cantone. We went to the Blue Grotto, went swimming several times, and did the tour of the coast. Water was a bit choppy, so if you have seasickness, prepare accordingly.
The Amalfi coast is one of my favourite parts of Italy. It has beautiful towns, warm water and delicious seafood. Make sure to eat all the spaghetti con vongole or pasta con fruite de mare. I found the locals to be more friendly than those we met in Tuscany and Milan.
