We rented a rib for the day and could not fault the whole experience, the guys at Southwest Boats were great, checkin was quick and end of day return was straightforward. Lovely day on the water with the family and thoroughly recommended, will definitely use again!
Anchor insufficient. Engjne did not restart and anchor did not hold in strong offshore wind. Had to be rescued. But then charged €350 for breaking the boat. Whereas actually there was an ignition fault. We are experienced skippers with qualifications - RYA advanced powerboat. And also own a rib and yacht. Choice of lightweight anchor and insufficient chain and line (15m) dangerous - when you know each day has strong offshore winds. Spoke to owner’s son - who suggested we were lying. Could have been a great experience - spoilt by poor regard for details and rudeness.
Great service and equipment, highly recommend
We had a lovely day on the sea with this boat, and the entire experience was very beginner-friendly. I was given a brief rundown of the coast line and instructions for the boat when we arrived. It is easy to navigate out of the harbor (you only have to drive the boat forward), and when you return, the friendly staff meets you at the gas station and drives you back into the harbor. You have a signal on your mobile phone at all times when you stay somewhat close to the coast, which is very helpful when looking for landmarks and checking your location. I would definitely recommend Sergio and his team!

Nice day trip on the Atlantic. There were 7 people on the boat and we think that the capacity was reached. Unfortunately the boat propeller had a hairline crack, which you should really look at and document before setting off. After a bit of discussion when handing it over, we got the deposit back (€1500.00). This meant a loss of 45 minutes. We also got an apology. Be careful and write everything down. Otherwise we saw beautiful bays, you are not allowed to drive into the caves themselves, but we saw some great bays and swam to them.
