This island also features the forty saints monastery, which used to be a shelter for Greeks during the revolution of 1821 against Turkish occupation. There are other islands as well as Prasouda. Prasouda is a tiny island with wild vegetation around it,and a 14th century ruined monastery in the middle. For a long time the only residents are the Seagulls of the area. If you are friendly enough with them , they might let you get a picture with them. The map also shows the location of small beautiful coves for swimming or diving. One of them is Tzasteni. Boat owner didn‘t come to the scheduled time and to the place he messaged us to meet (En Plo Bar). We waited for about 2h and tried to call him by phone and messaged him several times but he haven‘t answered anymore. I hope I will get my money back.

Absolutely brilliant day from start to finish very thorough on safety checks and explaining everything, we’ve hired boats before on other islands and never it carried out so well which really impressed us and reassured us in our safety and using the boat. Excellent service highly recommended it.
