Sailboat Bavaria 47 14m
Everyone is entitled to relaxation and recreation - which is why we aim to deliver high quality services at very competitive prices, with attention to detail and in a spirit of respect towards travellers. As full owners of the yachts that we charter, we are able to achieve that aim, as we do our own maintenance and can offer reasonable prices without middle men and commissions and, chiefly, without lowering our safety standards and the quality of the services we offer. We believe that personal contact is what counts the most and we are proud that throughout these years we have made friends rather than just served customers; people who have enjoyed their holidays on the Greek islands and return the following year to enjoy themselves again. We are passionate about what we do and lovingly look after our boats - which is what makes them stand out as unique. We offer round-the-clock support and personal care before leasing, during the trip and up to your return. Do not hesitate to ask anything that concerns you with respect to the yacht, the itinerary and the weather. We are ready to answer any question or query that you may have!We guarantee that our boats are absolutely safe. Seamanship and the rules of safety are our steadfast guides when equipping and maintaining our boats – which we always supervise. We provide complimentary transfers to and from the airport or any car park or train station; we organise transports to and from the boat;We purchase supplies and food on behalf of our customer and transport them to the yacht at no additional charge Do you dream of a yachting holiday? Whether you are a fan of sailing or not, one thing is certain, a trip on a sailing boat will delight you! Sailing holidays allow you to visit beautiful landscapes and swim at amazing beaches! You may wonder whether this is an expensive sport, and the answer is no! Even though people tend to believe that yachting is for the privileged, nothing could be further from the truth. A week on a sailing boat will cost a lot less than a week on any island, as in the latter case you have to also calculate the cost of additional travel, accommodation and food. On sailing holidays, you don't have to pay for transportation and the chartering fee total is divided amongst the passengers. In fact, if you eat on board, this can be a very economical holiday. Combine that with being able to get to beaches that you cannot access by road, the peace and relaxation of being on the sea and you will see that yachting holidays are both an ideal and affordable option! Yachting in Greece also has another great advantage: distances between Greek islands are very small. If you have a week or even weekend available, you can easily visit the islands of the Argosaronic Gulf or the Cyclades! The boat sails well and is fast. The price is VERY convenient. Hence the 5 stars. That being said, it's an old boat. In our two-week trip we've had issues with a leaking water tank, cooking gas coming and going for apparently no reason, and the anchor windlass stopping. The latter would have been an easy fix had somebody been able to tell us where to find the circuit breaker, instead it took the technician a couple of hours to find it himself after we came back. In addition to this we also encountered other minor issues. Also in my opinion the check-in was not properly handled by a technician and many issues were unknown to us when we departed. In the end the boat is good, but I recommend it only if you know what you are doing and are willing to deal with unexpected problems.
The boat is really well maintained, clean and well equipped. I was surprised to find that despite the age of the boat everything worked, really everything. Vaya was very responsive and did her best to make our stay on the boat perfect in every possible aspect. Thanks for perfect holiday!

We had a lovely sailing experience with Iris for a week. The boat is spacious, well maintained and had everything we needed for our adventure. The owner Vaya was always available and responded promptly to our enquiries. The only issue we had was the main sail that got stuck and we tried to fix unsuccessfully but that’s a lesson to be learned for the future. Will definitely use Iris again. Thank you.
Vaya was perfect owner, renting without any problem, always prepared to help us, thanks for everything.
We had a really good sailing experience on Iris. 5 days sailing on Saronic Gulf has been wonderful time with friends and kids thanks to Vaya and her company. The boat is well equipped, all the team is very nice and we had a very good communication between us. Preparation of the boat, advices, preparation of our trip, end of the trip, everything has been perfect. We warmly recommend Vaya and this boat! And hope to come back soon!

Vaya is very pleasant family owner, that really want to make the best or its renters : you don't feel like a number in front of a company only looking only to your money. She was also very reactive. Being a bit old, the boat still need to receive a final round of technical fixes & improvements to be totally ready for a real sailing cruise. The owner told me she really intended to have these last problems fixed soon to make it perfect again … and it really easily can ! Just check with Vaya to make sure it has been done and you will be fine. About the boat, - The Inside is very clean. We suffered from two problems : 1/ one kitchen sink go blocked even if we were careful. Sink drain has no protection against pieces and the exhaust pipe has a very small diameter… 2/ a bit of water flood inside via several hatches & portholes because their seals are old. - The sailing equipment : main sail & genoas have furling : that’s really nice. We only had little problems as for example the cam cleats of the mainsheet traveller not holding the rope anymore or missing a boom lift. Note that the boat has no GPS outside : you need to go inside the boat to check the map (be careful in case of shallow water if you are the sole skipper). - The safety equipment : the boat was almost ok, with 3 missing safety elements: broken backward railing/lifeline (metal wire closing the backside), missing sailing safety line (strap on the deck to fix individual harnesses) and the life buoy had no floating rescue light attached to (but the boat had a floating rescue light) About the other equipments, - Vaya purchased a new snorkelling sets for 5 persons and 1 Stand Up Panel. We really enjoyed them a lot. Thanks ! - The boat has a dinghy boat with an old engine but that works. - The kitchen equipment is ok but a bit limited to feel fine with a family of 5 during a one week cruise. So, a boat of its age that you can sail with and nicely live into with a family during a nice cruise, if you don’t look for a 5* hotel quality boat… which you didn’t paid for. A fair price-quality deal proposed by Vaya.
Absolutely fabulous day of sailing. Vaya could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be back to charter this boat with her! Thank you so much.

We rented Iris for two weeks in the end of the season. The communication with Vaya was expectional; quick responses, really flexible with check-in and out, problem solving in our inquiries and very friendly. We even received a welcome gift when we arrived. The two weeks on board where an absolute pleasure. The boat is well maintained and easy to sail. Furthermore, we loved al equipment on board; the kitchen contains everything you need, the moring lines are long and a set of snorkling gear is onboard. Thank you Vaya for your good care and we see you next time!

Excellent and immediate communication with the owner. The manager was very helpful and promptly solved issues that came up during the rental.

PC Yachting was established in 2002 and specialises in sailing yacht charters & management for leisure. We are a family business with a select number of yachts and an enduring love of the sea and sailing. Petros Petropoulos, a former Captain of the Merchant Marine and an award-winning racing yachtsman, managed to turn his hobby into a business, providing high-quality yachting services for the last 18 years. In recent years, his daughter Vaya, who has post-graduate degrees in shipping, has taken an active role in the company. Vaya shares the same love of the sea and will help organise your trip - in fact, she will be first and last person you will meet on your arrival and before your departure. Our yachts are moored at the Alimos Marina, on Pier 6. The Alimos Marina, otherwise known as Kalamaki Marina, is the largest marina in Greece and is approximately an hour away from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”. You can get to the marina by taxi or by bus - the E96 line that departs from the airport every 15 minutes. Water and electricity are provided free of charge at the pier. Fuel is delivered at the pier by truck. The yacht can be handed over at another location, upon request, depending on boat availability on specific dates
