S/Y Mahayana is a custom-built 51ft aluminium catamaran built in 2008. As a result of her aluminium build, she is an extremely solid and durable boat making her the perfect yacht to charter. Equipped with two 40HP diesel engines and up to a 115sqm sail area, getting to your next destination could not be easier. Under engine power, Mahayana will cruise at 6-7knots, and under sail, she can gain speeds exceeding 16+ knots. The greatest advantage Mahayana has over other charter yachts is her sheer abundance of space. For day trips, we can accommodate up to 25 guests, and for those looking for the ultimate sailing package, we can accommodate up to 8 guests for overnight trips. Our 4 double guest cabins are all large and spacious, fully equipped with lights, electric fans and window hatches allowing for good ventilation. There are also 3 bathrooms on board, all of which are equipped with electric toilets, sink and shower with fresh running water. As with any home, the kitchen is the hub of all activity. Our onboard galley does not disappoint. Situated in the main living area/saloon, get prepared to be spoilt by the amazing food all freshly prepared by our onboard chef. For those who love their food, you can also jump in and learn how to cook some amazing Thai dishes! Up on the main deck, whether we’re sailing from one destination to the next, or moored for the evening, take advantage of the large open space to take in the scenery, read a book, or simply relax under the stars with a glass of wine in hand! LOCATION: We are based in Chalong Bay - in the south of Phuket where we automatically start and end all our trips. SY Mahayana can also start/end in different locations upon request, but this would be subject to a relocation fee which will be base don the total number of days additional travel needed. OVERNIGHT CHARTERS: > For trips of 4 nights or less, we start day 1 at 9am, then finish at 5pm on the final day. For this reason, we charge by the day. > For Trips of 5 nights or more, we start and finish at noon. For additional guests - please inform us of how many people, and we will provide a specific quote. Maximum Capacity for Day Trips = 20 Passengers Prices start from €850 For day trips, please send us a request and we will provide a quote at the time. We tend to have lots of promotions on Day trips, so we will send you the best/current price at the time of enquiry. Included in the trips are: • Sole private use of the yachts • 24hr service of the crew • 3 meals a day, freshly prepared onboard by our excellent Thai chefs, • Soft drinks/water/tea/coffee • Fresh fruits and snacks throughout the day • Towels & bed linens • Snorkelling equipment • 1 x two-person kayak.
