Our trip was lovely and we had a wonderful skipper but unfortunately the boat had a number of issues and mechanical problems and I cannot recommend. On the second day the boat's wheel lock got stuck after we anchored and our skipper had to completely take apart both steering wheels as we were adrift off of Capri. As we pulled into our next port in Procida the gears failed when we were in reverse. The entire next day we were stuck in port with multiple mechanics trying to fix the problem. They needed a new part that they didn't have and just put in thicker oil (which they spilled on our stored drinking water) so the problem was not fixed. It was our understanding that the part would arrive and be replaced the following day in Ischia, so once again, we spent another day waiting at the marina, but no one ever showed up. For the rest of the trip we needed assistance to safely get into port. We lost 2 of our days sailing, swimming, and paddleboarding on the Mediterranean as we were stuck in the marinas due to the mechanical problems. We also paid for WiFi but there was no WiFi on the boat. The large charter company Spartivento, where the boat came from, had an attitude of "well things can happen on a boat" and only offered to pay for our fuel after and allow us to return the boat a couple of hours late after a number of exchanges. I would recommend chartering a boat to see the Amalfi Coast, but I would never recommend using Spartivento.
