Where to sail on your yacht charter in Phuket?

Phuket is famous for four things: culture, cuisine, waterports and beaches. There’s so much to see and do that it can be hard to narrow down but not to worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a list of some of our favourite things on our Phuket itinerary.

Culture: Head into Phuket town and stroll down the streets to see inspiring architecture and visit some of the museums such as the Phuket Trickeye Museum. Pay respects at the Chinese temple Jui Tui Shrine or see the largest and most popular temple, Wat Chalong. When you’re done visiting the 29 temples in Phuket, head to the top of Nakkerd Hills to see the Phuket Big Buddha, one of the most famous landmarks in the country.

Cuisine: Eat your way through the unique Naka Market! This night market happens on weekends and here you’ll find delicious street food like buttered corn and deep-fried bananas as well as giant pineapple.

Watersports: Thrill seekers can enjoy thrilling watersports like wakeboarding, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. If you fancy something a bit more relaxed you can go snorkelling in the crystalline water and deep dive to see coral, sea turtles, stingrays and even sharks! But perhaps the most popular watersport is sea kayaking to the nearby islands like the famous James Bond island and Phang Nga Bay. Here you can see surreal views and explore caves!

Beaches: Swim in the turquoise waters and sunbathe on the blinding white sands of some of Phuket’s most famous beaches like Patong Beach, Kata, Rawai and Karon. At Karon Beach, there is a viewpoint where you can see miles of coastline of the Andaman Sea.

Absolutely exquisite and truly amazing. Cannot thank the crew enough for this great experience. We got to choose exactly where the boat would take us, and we saw some of the most gorgeous strips of coral and sealife under the water when we got off the boat at Racha Yai to go snorkeling. The timing of the trip lined up perfectly so that we'd sail back to the pier as the sun was about to set. The lunch, snacks, and drinks were plenty for us 8 college-bound guys, and that's saying a lot! Absolutely the best part of our Thailand trip.

Phuket is a very easy to reach location to start a nice trip. Many flights available and a short drive to the harbour. Prior to departure we determined the route together based on our preferences, which always very nice. We went to sail to smaller islands in the area which was lovely!
