Fun RANIERI PATHFINDER motorboat rental that will allow you to visit the fabulous coast of Northern Sardinia. Castelsardo, where the departure port is located, has a very charming medieval center with large walls. The port is very easy to find, it is located below the center of the village. You can visit the Isola Rossa which is about ten nautical miles away. It has wonderful coves, little-visited and still very wild beaches. This 115 HP boat can only be piloted if in possession of a boat license.The boat has everything necessary for comfortable and safe living on board. BAD EXPERIENCE -The boat was correct but with several key failures: the compass didn't work, as well as the geographic screen, and the roof was not maintained because the attaches were broken... no maps of the bay on board (except just one for the port arounds...). The benzine consumption was very high (3 hours autonomy at 18 mph) and higher than announced (more than 120€ for the full tank) and the motor was not efficient. -The communication was good on the morning but bad at the end of the trip because we went to costa paradiso first then to Stintino, as they recommended us to go, and we missed the good island and went to the nearest "public beach" on Anisara park which is forbidden except if you pay the carabinieri at the port located 3 km east!... Note that there is no dedicated channel in Sardinia so you have difficulty to go near a beach, and no right to anchor on the beach itself... without paying for it!!! -So, unfortunately, bad experience. We went to Porto Cervo two days after, and the trip was fabulous owing to a very good boat and precisions (equipments, maps...).
