Boat rental in Fort Lauderdale
Catalina — 387 (2008)
Description of Charles's sailboat
This 39 foot Catalina is a 1986 Legend Model The Captain is a Native Born Miami Beach and has lived in Fort Lauderdale since 1974. I can assure you a very pleasant day on the water be it sailing, swimming, snorkeling, cruising the inland waterway, stopping at restaurant for lunch or dinner. The Captain has his USCG OUPV License as well as the 50 Ton Masters with Sailing Endorsement and has had hundreds of satisfied passengers over the past many many years. The sailboat has been privy to weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, and even ashes at sea. The Captain is licensed by the State of Florida to perform weddings. Bring what you want to eat, drink, alcohol AOK, smokes. Dogs allowed on boat. I have an ice chest for all your cold stuff. The boat is docked up the New River from downtown Fort Lauderdale about an hour to the ocean. The River trip is wonderful, lots to see, houses, boats, and all kinds of activities. Most of the time, the water off Lauderdale is quite clear and snorkeling is terrific. Going out further to the Cobalt Blue color of the Gulfstream is exhilarating. Occasionally, we put a fishing line out for a Mahi Mahi or a tuna. Whatever you like to do is fine with the Captain; maybe not even going to the ocean is your option. Quite a few places to anchor boat off the beaten path and just lye out on the deck for a suntan! Boat has been reworked with one large main cabin.
