It's easy to get carried away by the beauty of Marseille, stretching over more than twenty kilometers of the coastline. Stop off at the charming old port, dominated by the Notre Dame de-la-garde. From Marseille, you can enjoy a simple walk in the harbour of Marseille, admiring the Chateau d'If or visiting the creeks by motor boat, RIB or sailing boat. Don't forget to stop off for a day in the Prado, the Catalans and Pointe Rouge beaches and enjoy the spectacular beaches.

One of the most beautiful places to be on the water! Words cannot describe the beauty! I now understand why it’s named Côte d’Azur—stunning blue sea! Highly recommend a boat day in Marseille!! Great restaurants too! Found the people to be very friendly and helpful too. Parking is a little congested though!
So much to do around Marseille. Iles du Frioul, Cassis, La Ciotat, Les Calanques -- all wonderful! The scenery is incredible! The wind can change quickly from on day to the next. If the Mistral comes tearing through you might need to wait till it subsides. You will not be disappointed.
Go see the Calanques - amazing! Our family of 4 rented boat with skipper through Pierre, and it was a fabulous day. Saw a lot of amazing sights, and just enjoyed a day of swimming and lounging around. The old port of Marseille was something to see, but also get out along the coast towards Cassis - really should not miss the Calanques (we even went cliffjumping near Cassis - a highlight of our trip).
