You can discover Spaccanapoli, one of the three main streets of the old town, where you will find the best pizzerias and shops selling fresh natural products, as well as the purest atmosphere in town.

From Castel dell'Ovo, a fortified citadel, you can enjoy one of the best views of the bay, including Vesuvius. How much does it cost to hire a boat in Naples?

Depending on the size and more or less luxurious models, prices can be higher, but are still shared by the passengers on board. Renting a sailboat in high season, so between the beginning of June and the end of August, is more expensive than in the autumn and winter months, when rentals are cheaper.

We went in Sorrento and after to Capri all around and see her wonderful grotto (dolphin grotto, blue grotto, kiss grotto) and faraglioni stones. It was a wonderful day.

Positano was lovely, Amalfi town was worth visiting. But Capri is amazing. We enjoyed the ease of cruising mid September which allowed manageable weather with still enjoyable water temperatures. The slow cruising around the Amalfi coast was preferred as the waves can be quite high at times, but the night spent at Capri whilst at anchor was pleasant.

Beautiful city. We visited Procida, Ischia and Capri and loved each island. They are all very quaint and have a lot of character. The one thing I will recommend to other boaters is not to try to pack too many islands in a short trip. We had 3 days and stopped at 3 islands, but originally wanted to stop at 4. It’s a good thing we didn’t because it takes time to walk around these islands and enjoy them to the fullest.
