Introducing you our incredibly powerful sailboat "Kallisto". Kallisto is an Olympic Sea 42, inspired by Sun Legend 41 from Jeanneau. Its length is 12.25m and it has been built in 1990. During all these years, Kallisto has proven to be a very adventurous sailboat, as it has participated in many regattas and given to its owners the satisfaction to say that they have one of the best performing sailboats! This means that you will sail in maximum safety, as it has all the equipment you will need. But safety always goes with comfort, and its 3 double cabins will surely provide you that. Either you decide to sail alone or with our skipper, we will make sure that you have an unforgettable experience with Kallisto! Kavala is a wonderful sailing spot, as it is close to beautiful islands such as Thasos and of course close to Chalkidiki Peninsula, the diamond of north Aegean! You can always consult us for the best spots. We will be glad to help you! The boot is not new but wel maintained. Dimitris is a passionated sailer and that you can find in all the little things on board. Communication is good and Dimitris is a helping hand when needed. We had a summer storm with 35 knot wind and then you feel that this is a strong en good boot.
It was a gray week sailing in Greece. The boat though from 1990 was in top shape. From the inside and outside it is perfectly maintained. Dimitris is super communicative, responses quickly and in person is a very friendly and knowledgeable person. On arrival the fridge had juice, beer and wine and everything else you need for the first few days. 10/10 points for the boat and the service.
Experience, what I would like to repeat, definitely! Yes, it is 1990, but the boat is with in a very good condition, everything works fine, it is visible that the owner cares about the boat like for his home! Sails are new, tested not enough...as we didn't had a chance to face with much wind, but next time we will :)
Old boat in good state with appropriate maintenance, and with modern improvements and fittings.
This is an old boat but the engine and mainsail are new. Electronics (autohelm, AIS, chart plotter) are good. Sails well and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have some fans in the cabins but maybe the battery bank would not allow it?
We have spend one week on the Callisto accompanied by Dimitris. It was our first time on a sailboat and we could not have hoped for a better journey. Everything was just perfect. Dimitris is a very discreet and serious person, his company was most enjoyable and he knows the region like his pocket. Thassos island is a beauty and despite the heatwave it just felt like paradise.I can only warmly recommend the Callisto and his owner Dimitris.
