Bénéteau — Océanis 38.1 Performance (2019)

Description of eric's sailboat
Sailboat Bénéteau Océanis 38.1 Performance 11.5m
I have configured and equipped my sailboat to be comfortable, efficient, seaworthy and easy to use. A "proprietary" configuration which favors space over the number of beds: - 2 very spacious cabins with very wide berths - 6 beds (including 1 fixed bed and 1 removable bed in the saloon) - shower room and separate toilet room - U-shaped square - long kitchen with side-opening refrigerator ... just like at home :-) - large wardrobe - plenty of storage space inside and large cockpit lockers - very complete inventory - forced air heating running on diesel Equipment to facilitate navigation, especially with a small crew: - dual motor control - dual autopilot control - double steering wheel - B&G Zeus3 central unit on port console (with Navionics cartography) and B&G Triton 2 display on starboard - Tablet fixed in front of the chart table with Navionics cartography The Performance pack to have fun: - longer mast and increased sail area - Elvström sails in Aramid fiber - optimized fittings (German system, Flat deck furler, adjustable genoa carriage, Dyneema halyards, cascade backstay) A boat configured to sail far and in complete safety: - offshore safety equipment (navigation more than 60 miles from a shelter and more than 24 hours from the emergency services) with 2 distress beacons and 1 AIS receiver - many toe clips - many handrails inside and outside - breeze staysail - secure rear skirt - foot pump and sea water spout - SilentWind Pro wind turbine (nominal power 420 W / 32 A) - solar panel (nominal power 100 W / 6 A) Note that the category of the vessel and its safety equipment allow: - to navigate with 6 people beyond 6 miles from a shelter, with no distance limit, - to navigate with 10 people in coastal navigation (within 6 miles of a shelter). -> Do not hesitate to contact me via the Click & Boat messaging system for more information (eg: precise description of the boat's configuration, its equipment and its inventory) and / or to discuss your project. EXCLUSIVE OFFERS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO NAVIGATE LONGER AND / OR FURTHER: - decreasing rates: -10% for the 2nd consecutive week, -15% for the 3rd consecutive week and - 20% for the 4th consecutive week of rental. - depending on the dates and your sailing schedule, we can arrange for you to be able to do "One-Way", this will allow you to go further. Departing from Lorient, you can discover the charms of southern Brittany (Groix, Les Glénan, Belle-Ile, Houat, Hoëdic, Golfe du Morbihan, Le Belon, ...), or go further if you take the boat for at least 2 consecutive weeks (the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall are only 1.5 days sailing, Astúries 2 days and Galicia 3 days). ------------------------ Details to avoid any misunderstanding: - the date of manufacture of the boat is December 2018 and the date of delivery of the new boat is February 2019 (vintage 2029). - the boat does not have the tilting swim platform that is found on most Océanis 38.1. Instead, you access a skirt by raising a tray (see photos of the boat seen from the rear); it is very practical and safe to use the swim ladder or climb into the annex. - to date, the boat does not yet have a downwind sail (spinnaker or Gennaker)
