Everything was easy. Boat did the job very well!
Great boat for the price. Instructions given and questions answer. Does the job. We took a slow drive to capri and moored near the small red lighthouse structure in the port for free. Had some dinner and took a slow drive back to marina grande to meet the company representative who did his checks then we left. Thankyou, great service
We had the best day out on the boat. We were a bit apprehensive because we were fairly new to boating but the boat was easy to use and we settled into it fairly fast. The owner was responsive and easy going. Only thing is to check the fuel gauge before you go out and think about how much driving around you plan to do. We were quite low on fuel by the time we gave the boat back but that was on me, I never requested a full tank. The boat came with a half tank which was a reasonable amount for exploring the area. You need to pay for the fuel separate, half tank is roughly 50 euro. We took the boat to Capri and back. Super day out, great exclusive experience having the private boat. Bring motion sick tablets, it's a sturdy boat but she moves around a lot on the open sea. Highly recommended. Doable for newbies but it would've been nice to know more bout the other controls on the panel, again on me, I didn't ask. The important ones were pointed out.
The boat was fine. We had no power on the radio so no music. But thats fine by us. The only thing was that the guy who brought the boat said fuel will be between 50 and 80 euro’s. We whent from Sorrento to Capri. Stayed at the front of the Island for about 1,5 hours. Then we went a little bit further along side the island and back to Sorrento. When we came back the fuel was 80 euro’s. I asked him how he knows this. It was seen on the gps he said. I tought this was strange. Because we didn’t went to far.
The sunroof was broken (the two arms kept coming apart and was extremely difficult to connect again and the awning itself couldn't handle the wind), the USB port didn't work, the hatch for storage was broken (one side wasnt screwed into the back so when we opened it, the hydrolics on one side made it difficult to close the hatch, we need at least two people to push it in and closed) the back of the driver's seat was broken because of the hatch mentioned before. The anchor never caught on and definitely wasn't enough to keep the boat in place. It could have been user error, but we weren't given instructions on how to use it or help with drift. We weren't told the "trick" to starting the engine, so the first time we turned it off, it took us half an hour of stress (because we were floating towards the cliffs and rocks due to the anchor not holding us in place) we called our contact person and he still failed to tell us that we had to put the gear into reverse first, then neutral, and then start the engine. We coincidentally did those steps and got it started, the second time turning off the engine, it was just as stressful, but when I got it to work I caught on to the "trick". Because of all these struggles and the stress and anxiety of the first hour, we wasted quite some fuel and so we decided not to risk going around Capri with the fear of running out of fuel, not getting the boat to start, not being able to anchor anywhere for a swim. Overall it was a big disappointment and we feel like we threw away 396 euros. That being said, the staff was very nice and understanding when we explained our struggles. They told us to contact click and boat, so I hope after leaving this review, action will be taken in way of recompensation.
Booked the boat the night before in Sorrent. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. We met at Marina Grande for the handover which went smooth. After returning from the trip we went together to the gas station for refueling. Tony and Gilberto where helpful. All in all I would book again and had a good experience. Thanks
Was able to book last minute the night before. They were very communicative and easy to connect with the day of our excursion. Worth it!
It was hard to find a boat available for today, so I was glad to have luck with this one. The process was smooth and communication was good. I don't speak italian, so it was helpful to communicate through this platform to translate. At the location we had support from one of the crew members who was able to help us in english. When we came three Sea Prop RIB 19.70 were delivered to renters, so maybe you will find differences in the state of the boat you get vs what you read here. As we are not used to the italian summer, we thought it would be essential to rent a boat with some shade. However, the bimini top is ment to be used only when the boat is not moving. Because it is low and not robust enough to be up with stronger winds. Another tip: if you expect you need to charge your phone while out for the day, bring a converter for 12V to USB as it is not included. And as last remark: as the water is salt and splashes all over, parts feel sticky and salty even right after clean delivery. But definitely worth the experience. We enjoyed our day out on the water a lot and can recommend this owner!
All staff were very helpful. Our driver Gilberto took us to some lovely places and we got to do and see a lot in our three hours.
Excellent service. Very easy and no hidden surprises.
Great day out, boat was good fun and great to see the sites around Sorrento and Capri. Only fair was we were missing an anchor So we couldn’t stop for long but we made it work. We were required to fill the tank up before returning which wasn’t too hard (for a first timer). Recommend and would use again when back in Sorrento. Thank you.
