Note that the place at Conleau allows to attend the festivities of VANNES every night I acquired TY COCK in 04/2012. I have owned several sailboats since 1980, whose previous one was a sailboat of type "Surprise " of 7.50 m for 5 years. I have skipped monohulled sailboats from 25 to 50 feet and multihulls from 38 to 46 feet for 15-day cruises mainly in the islands of the hot countries: Mediterranean, Caribbean and Cape Verde. I wanted a sailboat as efficient, sensitive, sailor as the Surprise but more habitable. After many essays and reflections, I chose the Sun Fast 32 GTE for its homogeneous qualities described by the different owners and its results in races in the Trinity. Upon purchase, the main safety features have been changed: hulls, mast, sleeper and current rigging, winder, sails, Pilotboard, survival, automatic vests and a complete overhaul of the completed engine. Over the course of my sailings with novice or experienced crews or solo, on a cruise or in a regatta -winner of the Tour de Belle Ile en 2013 in his category - TY COCK proved to be a swift sailboat, fast as well at close to the bearing, at ease both in the good weather and in the bad weather. It is a sailboat offering a good compromise between race and cruising with an important draught ensuring a great stiffness under sail. Its well-positioned and constantly improving fittings allow to work fine adjustments. With its good habitability and comfort, 6 people can sail on a coastal cruise and 4 on an offshore cruise. TY COCK is located on a dead body in the preserved site of the peninsula of Conwater. Convenient, this situation makes it possible to arrive by train or by car, to visit Vannes, to carry out its victualling within a few minutes of Conwater (Cliscouet), to enjoy good restaurants to taste seafood and crustaceans. The boarding can be done either with an annex, or at a pontoon located 10 minutes from the water or, for even more comfort, in the Port of valves (light supplement to be foreseen), provided that the conditions of the tide are suitable. Another possibility is the port of Arradon with its large parking. This starting point is interesting because the sense of the tides does not bother us to visit a part of the Gulf. From this point of departure, several navigations are possible: the Gulf of Morbihan and all its secrets, the Bay of Quiberon with exit from the Gulf to the various islands of charm Hoedic, Houat and Belle Ile (expect at least 2 days because of the tidal currents to R exit and re-entry into the Gulf) On a week or more, you can go and discover the beautiful islands of the island of Yeu in the islands of Glénan. I will be at your disposal when you embark to discover my sailboat and our island Navigation zone: Welcome aboard! Small wink in photos: I sailed solo from Vannes to Loctudy passing by the Glénan Islands at the end of the season. The weather was exceptional: daily sunshine, variable wind north/northeast from 10 to 25 real NDS. With 1 RIS from 15 NDS and playing on the surface of the genoa, TY COCK slipped between 5 and 8 NDS: A happiness this sailboat! NB: A nautical CV, the licence Plaisance option Offshore and the CRR (Restricted radiotelephone operator certificate) are required.
