There is an option of a daily cruise, with an 8 hour duration, around Pagasetic Gulf. We offer you snacks and soft drinks, while you relax onboard. Otherwise, it is possible for you to rent the boat for a week or more, in order to explore the Sporades islands (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos, Skyros) where you can find different images, flavours and amazing beaches, as our experienced crew will show you all the secrets in the islands. Overall we had a good trip and the boat was clean, big and in good shape (including air con, a key feature when its 40 degrees outside). However, we were not super happy with the service level for 2 main reasons: 1) We really wanted to sail and made this very clear, however, in our 5 days we ended up only sailing maybe 6 hours in total. Everytime we asked for more sail time there was always some reason not to, and it felt like the skippper/ owner really did not want to go out of his way to accomodate us. (sometimes the reason was legit, like too much wind, and no boat left the port, but othertimes it just felt like it would more work for him and he didnt want to put the sails back up). 2) Generallly not very wiling to accomodate extra wishes, like a specific bay, or sunset cruise. It was always a discussion so we eventually stopped asking Having said that, he did show us some beautiful spots making the trip overall worth it. I would recommend to go off season when its less hot and more spaces in the port, it gives you more flexibility. We often had to be back by 5 or 6 to get a spot which means less time for other things.

We understand your thoughts, however, please keep in mind that our skippers are professionals and local people, so they know the region well and according to the current weather conditions and the circumstances, they prepare the route and the sailing time. Since your trip was a 5-day charter , while usually weekly charters are the most common and offering more time to see the Sporades, some things were adjusted in order to show you all the beautiful spots and islands, according to the time available, which sometimes means usage of the engine. As you mentioned, high season makes the island ports busy, which is something also that our skippers take into consideration. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your trip and our region and we thank you for sailing with us.
