Dia is a NATURA protected, uninhabited island, located about 7 nautical miles off the northern coast of Crete. Jacques-Yves Cousteau's findings in the island, in 1974, are of great archaeological interest. The island was inhabited by the Minoans and played a critical role in navigation and sailing during the Minoan times. It is well known that the Minoans were the most skilled sailors of the ancient world and the Minoan civilization is considered to be one of the most advanced ones ever existed on Earth. During this cruise, you can engage yourselves in a variety of activities. Try diving with your mask in the crystal-clear water, as its bottom is of great ecological and archeological interest because of the large variety of undersea discoveries. Or else, you can just relax aboard and enjoy the warm sun. As the boat glides through the water, you will likely encounter dolphins, which love to swim in our bow wake. We we’re looking forward about this trip but unfortunately our cruise couldn’t docked in Crete for weather conditions, so I can’t make a review.
Amazing day, couldn’t of been received better service. Ticketed every box, drinks given to us as soon as we arrived, great food cooked on the boat, friendly and informative staff and an all great experience.

Δραστηριοποιούμαι ενεργά στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της πόλης του Ηρακλείου στο νησί της Κρήτης, αλλά και στο όμορφο Αιγαίο Πέλαγος, έχοντας ως βάση μου το λιμάνι του Ηρακλείου (Μαρίνα). Η θάλασσα αποτελεί μέρος της ζωής μου από την παιδική μου ηλικία - η Κρήτη έχει μακρά παράδοση στη ναυσιπλοΐα εδώ και χιλιάδες χρόνια, από την εποχή των Μινωιτών. Aρκετοί κάτοικοι του νησιού ασχολούνται με αυτήν μέχρι και σήμερα. (EN) I am involved in sailing for 25 years, 10 of them as a professional. I am actively operating within the vicinity of the city of Heraklion, in the island of Crete, but also in the beautiful Aegean Sea, based on the Heraklion Port (Marina). The sea has played an influential role in my life since my childhood - Crete has a long tradition in sailing for thousands of years, from the Minoan times. Many inhabitants of the island are involved in it to this day. As the owner of two sailboats, I have made countless voyages over all those years and each of them is always a unique experience for me.
