The Oceanis 423 represents a real classic among the fast-cruisers yachts for construction quality and comfort. The boat has an external cockpit with cushions, a large dinette with a dining table for 8 people and a kitchen, 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms, one with a shower. In the cockpit the external peaks contain all the safety equipment, life raft, fenders for mooring, safety anchor as well as a series of equipment necessary for navigation. The finishes are those of Benateau yachts, with solid wood furniture, cockpit and teak deck, tree shaft and a single central rudder, in order to reduce the friction of the gears typical of the two rudders. Compared to all other 42 feet sailing the Oceanis 423 is certainly one of the fastest ever, with excellent sailing qualities both upwind and down wind and great maneuverability in port.
