Welcome aboard our fantastic Fiart 40 genius! A beautiful 13 meters and 570 horsepower yacht with great liveability of both external and internal spaces. The deck includes a large cabin with a double bed at the prow, two cabins with 2 single beds at the stern, a bathroom and a convertible dinette. Externally you can relax on a large sundeck at the prow, while a large retractable table at the stern can comfortably accommodate more than 10 people seated at the same time! Our charter service offers multiple possibilities according to your needs and indications, and it is fully customizable. We offer various organised excursions as well as the possibility of organising, if you like, days along the entire Adriatic coast of Salento! TORRE DELL’ORSO TRIP (Half day 9:30-13:00 or 15:30-18:00) We will sail from the tourist port of San Foca heading SOUTH towards the magnificent “Grotta della Poesia” (“Poetry Cave”), skirting the archaeological area of Roca Vecchia dominated by the homonymous watchtower. After a few miles of comfortable navigation, we will reach the bay of Torre dell'Orso: the legend has it that two young women dived into the water in search of refreshment, but they drowned in the stormy sea and they were transformed by the Gods into the two stacks that dominate the bay (known precisely with the name of Due Sorelle, “Two Sisters”). Here you can enjoy the coolness of the crystal-clear waters by snorkelling, using the SUPs at your disposal or reaching the shore with the kayaks that you will find on board. Finally, you will be served an aperitif with the tasty Salento frisa freshly prepared and “spiced” on board, accompanied by good local wine and fresh fruit. TORRE SANT’ANDREA TRIP (Full day 10:00-18:00) Departure in the morning from the tourist port of San Foca, near the sixteenth-century watchtower, skirting the limestone cliff and passing by the white beaches of this stretch of coast heading south. We will visit the romantic “Grotta della Poesia” (“Poetry Cave”), an ancient collapsed cave connected to the Adriatic sea by suggestive submarine passages. We will get a taste of ancient history along the archaeological area of Roca Vecchia, an ancient fortification occupied in the seventeenth century BC. The journey will continue towards Torre Sant’Andrea, where we will stop in the suggestive “bay of the ship”, sheltered by the high ivory cliff from which high stacks sculpted in the crystalline waters between arches and limestone towers emerge. Going up north, we will finally land in the magnificent bay of Torre dell’Orso, dominated by the tower of the same name that stands out on the silver beaches and on the “Due Sorelle” (“Two Sisters”), its two stacks that embellish the inlet. Here you can swim in the clear waters, snorkel, or explore the coastal ravines with the SUP boards at your disposal. During the day, an excellent lunch will be served on board with appetizers and fish dishes (2 course), accompanied by Salento D.O.C.G. wine. OTRANTO TRIP (Full day 10:00-18:00) This trip requires an additional fee of €300 to be paid on board. Departure from the port of San Foca at 10:00 AM, heading SOUTH along the high limestone cliff, the famous “Grotta della Poesia” (awarded among the ten most beautiful natural caves in the world) and passing by the bay of Sant'Andrea and Torre dell’Orso. We will arrive in the surroundings of the beautiful town of Idrudina after about 40 minutes of navigation and we will stop in the cove of the bay of the Turks (where, according to legend, the Turkish warriors landed during the siege of the city of Otranto in the fifteenth century). After a short stop and a swim, we will head towards the bay of the broken cave (which takes its name from the Dolina) and is connected to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic sea by a large arch visible from the sea; here you can also go for a refreshing swim before setting off again to reach the port of Otranto where we will stop near its ancient walls for a lunch with the scent of history and the taste of the sea cooked directly on board by our crew. Enjoy the appetizers, first and second courses of fish accompanied by the excellent D.O.C.G. wine before setting off again towards the beautiful bay of Orte, a little further south, and from which the lighthouse of Punta Palascia will be clearly visible – the easternmost point of the whole Italy “boot” shape! We will end our trip here but not before heading back to the port while enjoying the navigation at sunset, and we will arrive around 18:00.
