Boat rental in Canet-en-Roussillon · Amel — Maramu (1982)

A 46' sailing yacht, built 1982, refurbished (hull, sails, rigging …) & outfitted for long trips of Ocean cruising, she is back in home port Canet en Roussillon returning from a 9 months trip of 12000 NM in NOrthern Atlantic. Undergoing more upgrades & improvements to prepare for the next Grand departure, planned Sep-2019 with destination a trip around the Southern Atlantic, with visit to the whaling stations in South Georgia. She is completely outfitted for Ocean cruising with all navigation equipment, safety devices & communication required. She handles safely & beautiffuly in strong winds (beating & running thru 50 Kn true winds, 6 M waves in Atlantic ocean, 3 M waves in Mediterranean) thanks to split rigging, center cockpit & design for short handed crew. I, as captain on board, sail her & will gladly accompany you in our week long trips on the Spanish coast, Balearic islands & Sardinia waters, mixing passages to-from islands with night sailing, moorings in 'calas' (sheltered coves), call in at picturesque ports en route. You shall actively participate with sailing (navigation, helm, tuning sails) & life (fishing, diving …) on board during our passages. She will accomodate up to 4 guests on board, in 2 separate cabins (one the owners suite), & accept children under conditions (safety !). I will plan ahead the trip in accordance with your wishes & feasability, WPGW (Weather permitting & God Willing) in order to make it the most pleasant discovery or enjoyment of sailing during your vacations. Under special circumstances, I can provide full services, including hostess services, cooking & taking care of accomodation on board, but would rather see you participate with all tasks in order to enjoy to the full life on board an ocean going vessel.
