The Blue Icon is a beautiful, comfortable and well maintained catamaran and the Captain, the Cook and the were extremely kind, always available, polite and very helpful and all three of them did their utmost best for us. We very much enjoyed our meals on the first and last day, but the weather made it difficult for the cook to prepare a meal on the second day, so we had a simple Pad Thai for lunch and spaghetti carbonara for dinner. There were plenty snacks, soft drinks and water, and delicious coffee available. We also had a lot of fun with the kayak and the paddle board. If I only gave 3 stars for Value for money is because I did find it very expensive for Phuket. Last year in the month of March I rented exactly the same type of catamaran with the same equipment, kind of meals and staff for 1/3 of the price. I was in a hurry to book a catamaran for my family and the owner did offer full board instead of half board etc and maybe everything costs 3x more in 2024 ? If you can afford it I am sure you will enjoy the Blue Icon just as much as we did. We really had a wonderful time. Anne

1. Skipper and deck hand knowledgable and very hard working. 2. Boat has serious electrical issues which need battery to be moved from main engine to generator and back again in order to run either unit. Wiring in generator space is very poor. 3. Food is far below the expected standard and even on 4 days became too boring to eat. Galley is dirty and tap falling off. 4. We were sold the attendance of a Hostess, who did not come on the voyage. 5. The boat ran out of fresh water on the 3rd afternoon of a 4 day charter leaving me covered in soap. 6. The rigging is not done correctly with parts missing, resulting in difficulty in hoisting sail. A professional rigger needs to rectify these many issues. I have a list if needed. 7. The mast navigation light was hanging down and not secured properly as it had been knocked by a sail on an earlier charter. It may fall off soon. 8. A number of safety pins/rings missing from lifelines. Except for the Skipper and deck hand, the entire charter was far below the expected standard and represented unacceptably poor value for money. I believe the owner is running the boat too hard and not taking time for maintenance. Photos available for many of these issues.

The abundance of towels was a thoughtful touch for both onboard and ocean use. - Entertainment Delights: The outdoor "cinema" experience was a highlight, allowing us to enjoy movies under the stars. - Relaxation Spaces: The boat had many large, cozy pillows, providing ample opportunities for relaxation in various nooks. - Climate Control: The air conditioning system was flawless, ensuring a perfect onboard temperature for sleeping. Opportunities for Improvement: - Water Toys: Our anticipation of water-based activities was met with disappointment due to the absence of advertised items like underwater scooters, paddle boards, and a kayak. This was a missed opportunity to enhance our adventure. - Culinary Missteps: Despite providing clear dietary preferences (specifically a no shellfish request and lactose free), the initial meals did not align with our instructions. However, once rectified, the culinary experience was exceptional, offering a diverse and high-quality selection of cuisines. Conclusion: The Blue Icon truly lives up to its "boutique" ethos, thanks to the personalized and attentive service of the crew. While there's room for improvement in certain areas, the overall experience was incredible, and we would do it again. We highly recommend this vessel/crew.

Wonderful experience. The captain and team were a joy to travel with, very attentive and professional. One or two little details on planning we wish would have been cleared before boarding but overall a great trip with a lovely crew.

This was the perfect excursion! We rented two different boats on two different days from Blue and his crew. They accommodated every request we made and were professional through and through! We really connected with the crew and will definitely come back and sail with them again next year! They really are the dream team!

Everything was fabulous! The knowledge of the crew and the friendliness was unbelievable! I highly recommend to everyone!
