Itinerary

Starting location:
Porto di Salerno, Salerno, Italy
Vietri sul Mare
Ceramics, ceramics, ceramics! Vietri is the top producer of the famous Amalfi Coast ceramics. It is a colorful town bordering the city of Salerno.
Cetera
Cetara is the village where the pirates chose to make their base when invading the Amalfi Coast in the 9th century. The village is most known for its fish dishes, specifically tuna and anchovies, recognized throughout all of Italy and now the world!
Erchie
Legend says that Erchie was founded by Hercules when he arrived in Italy from Greece. It is a tranquil place to stop for a swim.
Major
A large beach and sidewalk, (called "lungomare", meaning” along the sea" in Italian) full of shops and cafes. Also stop at Pandora's Grotto, an enchanting natural sea cave.
Minors
Stop for free time in Minori if you would like to see the ruins of an ancient Roman villa or stop for something sweet from the famous Sal de Riso bakery.
Marbled
Stop to swim or simply admire from the boat, a natural waterfall flowing from the mountains into the sea. It was once the energy source of an old paper mill, as Amalfi was known for its paper making back in the 13th century.
Atrani
The smallest village in all of Italy, a quaint cobblestone piazzetta with a small fountain surrounded by lovely cafes and a spacious beach.
Amalfi
You will cruise along the heart of this impressive coastline, stopping at the villages of your choice, swimming, sea caves, and more. Hungry? At lunchtime the boat can pull into one of the family owned seaside restaurants. After enjoying a local lunch, re-board to continue the excursion.
Conca dei Marini
Enjoy a swim in a beautiful bay under the former villa of Sophia Loren and stop to enjoy the beach where Jackie Kennedy spent her days while vacationing on the coast. This is village was voted to be in the top 100 most beautiful Italian villages. This is a must-see.
Emerald Grotto
Stop for a tour inside this hidden grotto on the Amalfi Coast known for its emerald green water. (Visiting the grotto is optional and the entrance fee is not included in this excursion.)
Fjord of Furore
A secluded inlet carved into towering cliffs. Above the fiord is an impressive stone arch bridge, part of the coastal road that connects Amalfi and Positano, providing stunning views down into the cove. Tiny fishermen’s houses, painted in bright colors are scattered along the rocks, adding to the picturesque setting and hinting at the area's past as a working fishing village.
Beachgoer
When you pass Praiano by boat, you’ll notice it gets more direct sunlight than most towns on the Amalfi Coast, which is why its name comes from the Greek word meaning “open sea” or “sunny place.” Locals have always considered it one of the coast’s brightest spots.
Positano
Stop for free time in Positano if you would like to stroll along the beach, visit the town's lovely church, or enjoy a bit of shopping.
And much, much, more!
This is the best way to experience the Amalfi Coast. With a private local captain, you’ll explore hidden sea caves, turquoise bays, and breathtaking cliffs at your own pace, swimming and stopping wherever you wish. Perfect for families, couples, and travelers of all ages, the tour combines sightseeing, local flavor, and unforgettable views into a single seamless day — giving you the Amalfi Coast from the perspective that no land-based tour can match.
