⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Lavezzi Islands are truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited. The water is unbelievably clear and crystal blue exactly like something out of a postcard. Every stop was breathtaking, with stunning granite rocks, untouched nature, and incredible scenery in every direction. Swimming here is an unforgettable experience. The sea is calm, transparent, and full of vibrant marine life, making it feel like you’re in a natural aquarium. If you’re visiting Corsica, this is an absolute must-see. Photos don’t do it justice you have to experience it for yourself. A magical place that completely exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back.

Porto-Vecchio is a good place to start your trip. There is a supermarket 700 meters from the marina and plenty of restaurants to enjoy.

An absolutely unforgettable experience — 20 out of 10! We are a doctor couple from London, and we had the privilege of sailing with Serge — an experience that couldn’t have been better. From the very start, he went above and beyond, travelling a long distance to pick us up from Olbia and take us to the most beautiful bays along the coast. Over our 2 nights and 3 days aboard, we swam in two different stunning bays each day and visited many more as we sailed, including a memorable stop at Porto Cervo where he showed us the magnificent yachts and explained their features. Serge is an exceptional host — warm, generous, and genuinely hospitable. He’s also one of the most experienced sailors you could hope to meet, having recently crossed the Atlantic in both directions. Throughout the trip he was happy to teach us how to sail, sharing his knowledge with patience and enthusiasm. By the end, both of us had fallen in love with sailing and are now seriously planning to take it up ourselves. What truly sets Serge apart is the rare combination of deep experience, a well-travelled and cultured perspective, and genuine humility. He has something of a fatherly figure about him — wise, warm, and reassuring. His Swiss heritage, along with his time living in London and other parts of the world, made for wonderful conversation throughout. He’s fascinating on extreme sports, travel, and sailing, and speaks fluent English, French, and German. Serge was always receptive to our requests and unfailingly kind. As an easy-going couple, we happily respected his opinions — he knows the area extremely well, and whenever we double-checked his recommendations ourselves, we were never once disappointed. Safety was always his priority. When other boats approached to anchor in the same bay while we were swimming, he was attentive and careful, making sure we were protected at all times. He’s also a fantastic cook — we prepared wonderful meals together, and his generosity shone through in everything. He’s deeply respectful of other cultures and opinions, which made every conversation a pleasure. His boat is immaculate and clearly his home; you can feel the special relationship he has with it and the care he puts into looking after it. By the end of the trip, we felt we’d made a real friend, and we’re already looking forward to booking his boat again at our first availability. If you’re looking for a professional, friendly, and truly memorable sailing trip, Serge is your captain.
