Dolmabahçe Palace is an Ottoman palace located in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, on an area of ​​250,000 m² between Dolmabahçe Street, which extends from Kabataş to Beşiktaş, and the Bosphorus. It takes its name from the Beylerbeyi district in which it is located. It was built in 1863-1865 under the instructions of Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz, with the architecture of Sarkis Balyan.
