In just one hour, you'll cruise past the city’s riverside wonders, where old-world charm meets modern vibrance. From the boat, enjoy panoramic views of the majestic 25 de Abril Bridge, the sprawling Alfama district, and the towering Christ the King statue keeping watch from across the water.

Sail along the lively banks of Lisbon’s downtown, where traditional Portuguese architecture lines the hills and trams glide through ancient streets. Glide past Praça do Comércio, one of Europe's grandest waterfront squares, and wave to passersby along the Cais do Sodré.

This quick yet enriching experience is ideal for those short on time but eager to soak in the atmosphere of the city. Whether it’s your first time in Lisbon or your hundredth, there’s something magical about seeing its skyline reflected on the calm waters of the Tagus.

Bring your camera, your curiosity, and a sense of adventure—because even one hour on this river will leave you with memories for a lifetime.

Itinerary

Starting location:
Lisbon, Doca Alcântara
Lisbon
Enjoy a scenic boat tour along the Tagus River, taking in Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks and historic neighborhoods. Highlights include the Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, 25th of April Bridge, Christ the King statue, and the majestic Commerce Square.
Monument to the Discoveries
Is a powerful symbol of Portugal’s maritime heritage and its pivotal role during the Age of Discovery in the 15th and 16th centuries.
MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology)
Is one of Lisbon’s most ambitious cultural projects. Inaugurated in 2016. Its futuristic structure resembles a low-slung, asymmetrical wave, seamlessly blending into the landscape and inviting visitors to walk over its accessible rooftop.
Belém Tower – A Jewel of Manueline Architecture
A UNESCO World Heritage Site (Listed in1983), stands as one of Lisbon’s most emblematic monuments, guarding the entrance to the city’s harbour since the early 16th century.
The Champalimaud Foundation
Is a cutting-edge biomedical research centre and a striking example of contemporary Portuguese architecture.
25 April Bridge
Often compared to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge for its color and design, is one of Lisbon’s most striking landmarks – both an engineering marvel and a symbol of historical change.
Sanctuary of Christ the King
Standing proudly on the southern bank of the Tagus River, is one of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks – a towering statue of Christ with open arms, inspired by the famous Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.
Frigate D. Fernando II e Glória – The Last Great Portuguese Sailing Warship
Moored along the Tagus River in Cacilhas, the Fragata D. Fernando II e Glória is a rare maritime treasure — the last wooden-hulled warship built by the Portuguese Navy and the last of its kind to sail under the Portuguese flag.
National Pantheon – Monument to Portugal’s Greatness
Perched on a hill in Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district, the National Pantheon is one of the city’s most majestic buildings – a tribute to some of the most important figures in Portuguese history.
Commerce Square
Is one of the largest and most majestic squares in Europe, symbolizing Lisbon’s maritime heritage and royal past.
Cais do Sodré
Once a dirty dockside district, the Cais do Sodré has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving into one of Lisbon’s most vibrant and eclectic neighborhoods
